and it is an official Hasbro game. the game designers could have either used the actual vehicle mode for Megatron despite it not being properly revealed yet or they made something up if they weren't allowed to use his actual vehicle mode but had to give him something to transform into.

im more suprised by the appereance of unicron! wow. megs has been a gun, tank jet, racecar, and now a helicopter. awesomE!

his cannon could be stuck right where you might expect it, under the front of the copter. Looking at the megs robot pic this could accommodate a heli mode, or then again i could start the whole 'how can that possibly transform into a ......' a nice case of failed arguments from incredulity when the initial animated pic appeared.

While I'm definietly in the camp of people sick to death of Megatron being a useless gun, I don't necessarily think being some sort of helicopter (or jet... or car) is any better. Slow or not, I still think Megs alt mode should officially be a tank simply since it translates well to a G1-ish robot mode, maintains size & mass, and is a great excuse to maintain a fusion canon on his right arm.

Can I come in the camp with you I agree. Lol I do like him being a helicopter i would have prefered a apache type one though.

Interesting. As long as it has plenty of firepower I don't mind him being that. To be honest, ANYTHING that does NOT look like (Live) Megatron is acceptable!!! :CON:

As long as he has a significant weapon in 'bot mode, that alt mode flies with me. I wonder if the engines combine to form a fusion cannon? I tend to agree that a tank suits Megs best, but I'm not opposed to seeing him with more than one Alt mode. I'd rather have a Megatron that picks forms as he likes them than a constantly repainted Galvatron! So, Osprey. If they picked a robot mode as good looking as the one we've seen for his Cybertron form, it's fine.

Hmmm...nice to see that we've all opened our minds to other possibilities when it comes to Megsy's alt mode. What? We haven't? Oh, yeah...I should have guessed. God Almighty Himself forbid Megs from being anything other than a 1984 Walther P38.

Good grief! I haven't seen this much griping since the movie bots were released! Has anyone noticed that the US government NERFS any altmode that even slightly resembles a gun? Get into the 21st Century already! Open your minds! Megatron can be more than a gun. This isn't G1...it will NEVER be G1 again! G1 is but a fond memory for us old farts. Quit trying to impose our past on our present. It's a new generation...not a rehashed one.

i like this. i do miss the gun but i can see how this could be a triple changer too. i never cared for megatron as tank, far too clumsy for the emperor of destruction.

Holy snap, I never suspected that o__O I'm not hoping for a gun due it being aimed for little kids, but woah, I was thinking tank or something. Well, at least this way he can fly also
