The end of Chrome Shell Regios episode 3 was hilarious. The engrish, oh my GAAWWWWWD the ENGRISH! I have never laughed so ridiculously hard at a scene that was meant to be serious, oh my god it was terrible and brings back nightmares from Black Lagoon.... TERRIBLE I say it was.

I've said it before and will continue to say it until I am blue in the face. If you're going to include ENGLISH in your anime, for the love of all that is holy GET PEOPLE IN THAT CAN ACTUALLY SPEAK ENGLISH!

Also, does Shikabane Hime encourage necrophilia? Hahaha. Yes.

They're- they're so tiny I can't make anything out in the first five images. =( But it looks like you have a heck of a lot of manga. I can just imagine the weight on it.

4 shelves up, 3 cases across, double stacked.

To be fair that is both mine and my GF's collections combined (luckily we only had a few doubles when we moved in together) but there is more not in those pics.

I'll try to get better shots later that will have better detail when reduced.

Speaking of Sonic Unleashed, I tried the demo. And I can say, that I and every reviewer ever was absolutely right about how bad it was.

On topic: While I had an episode of Gundam 00 episode 16 ready, it also happened to be an MKV file, and I've learned that people are always willing to insert bad jokes into the subtitles. Luckily, my preferred source has given me not one, but two new episodes of Gundam 00, both 16 and 17, because I'm behind.

I was watching the dub of Gundam 00 last night, and I had two thoughts:

1. The part about Lichty's cyborg parts were removed, which pissed me off royally. I mean, okay, so it had no real impact on the story because he died five seconds later, but was it really necessary to remove?

2. This isn't a problem with the dub, but something I had noticed: The Alvatore is equipped with somewhere around seven Pseudo-GN Drives. So why was Ribbons so shocked at the 00 Gundam's abilities with two real GN Drives, when he knew what kind of power could be obtained with seven fake ones?

Answer Key 1

1) As they glossed over the character it would be easier to omit the information than waste time explaining it all.

2) I would simply look at this matter as Ribbons (in his former position) would have been aware of the power of the albacore and likely may have assisted in it's design/constuction and it's set up against the known gundams of the time. It would have been unstopable had freshly produced GN Arms been there and the addition of the Trans-am system.

Where as, The duel system had not worked while the 00 was hooked up thru Veda, and thou Ribbons knew the abilities on the 0, he wasn't aware of all that had been done to the Exia, or the modifacations that may have been done to the 00 while they prepared to load the Exia's drive to it. These combinded with the Trans-am system he already has a lack of technical knowledge, provides the answer to your concern.

Answer Key 2

1) The translaters and editors on the project screwed it up and found it was simpler to pretend his enhancements don't exist that force a crap load of information that they should have already provided.

2) It's the (usual) rule that every step-up in Gundam increases the power/weapons/abilties regardless of reason.

Gundam 00 Episode 16:
-Helluva little going on in this episode. The whole episode revolves around the coup d'etat in the Federation. The Federation Government made up some footage of the coup Feddies killing some civilians, although it was more or less faked--it shows coup Feddies shooting and citizens falling dead, but what it doesn't show is the A-Laws Automatons on the scene. The Feddie Government being sneaky and sinister?! Shock and awe! This is 30 Bunch all over again.

-At 18 minutes, Setsuna...meet Graham. Okay, so that begins as a repeat from the last episode. Graham nearly kills Setsuna with Masurao's Trans-Am, until Setsuna decides that 00 Riasers Trans-Am might help a bit. Then we have some awesome Goku vs. Vegeta Super Saiyan action. Okay, so it lasts just shy of two minutes, but it was awesome.

-Post Credits: Anti-Coup forces leave their posts around the Orbital Elevator, apparently expecting a collapse. In space, a brand new Memento Mori closes in. BUM BUM BUMMM!

Gundam 00, Episode 17:
-A flashback showing that Sergei's wife was killed defending the construction of an orbital elevator.

-Ribbon says that Innovators won't take control of Humanity, Ribbons himself will.

-Another Innovator down, Divine Nova.

-Alright, so when I was told that I'd be shouting and cheering at the screen, I was not lied to. Setsuna attacks the new Memento Mori with what appears to be a beam cannon, but then turns out to be a massive beam saber. Ideon suddenly felt a disturbance in the Force.

-Despite causing significant damage, Memento Mori still fires a shot being exploding. The Orbital Elevator is hit.

-Sumeragi sends combat data not only to Tieria, Lockon, and Allelujah, but also Katharon and the Federation Forces on the scene.

-Marie FINALLY shows up in the GN Archer. Fun fact: it's not additional equipment like the 0 Raiser, it's a transformable Mobile Suit like the Arios. Looks a helluva lot like a GM, too.

-This ends up as possibly THE biggest multi-faction team-up I've ever seen in Gundam, with Celestial Being, Katharon, the Coup forces, and the Federation Forces all teaming up to keep the pieces of the Elevator from crushing a near-by, densely-populated city...and then the A-Laws join it, also helping out. Alright this IS the biggest multi-faction team-up in Gundam history, unless Axis, Titans, AEUG and Karaba had stopped some disaster without me knowing.

-The next morning, the chaos has stopped. You remember the ending to Gundam SEED that had all the characters standing around the wreckage of various Mobile Suits? That happened here.

-Then Andrei shoots Hercules and fights Sergei. Marie tries to help him, while 00 Raiser keeps Louise from stopping her. The last shot before the credits: Andrei, with his beam saber sticking through his dad's suit.

-Post credits: A few flashbakcs elaborating on the one from the beginning of this episode. Sergei apologizes to Andrei, then dies. This makes Marie very sad.

-No matter what anyone says, I am absolutely confident that Tomino directed this episode. No one else could have brought this much death and destruction.

-Next up is a four-month time-skip.

Akira Toriyama
The creator of Dragon Ball & DBZ. He felt that the story was finished as he wanted to move on to other projects like Blue Dragon, so he ended the manga and stepped away from it. But because it is/was one of Bandai top 3 money makers at the time (with Sailor Moon and Gundam) they commissioned DB GT, which was produced without Toriyama's input, and thus one of the reasons some say it failed.
