looks at gi joe, that looks great and super sexy, and i'm a brit who barely grew up with gi joe, but i have to admit i have a greater knowledge than most average brits in that field

The season 1 finale of Gundam 00 is on Sci-fi right now...

Oh, man, it's so obvious knowing what I know now.

Aeolia's plan, I mean. Alejandro, while fighting Setsuna in the Alvaaron, comments "Celestial Being armed interventions have destroyed the world as it once was, only to be reborn through unity!"

Setsuna asks what Alejandro plans to change, and Alejandro says he didn't change it, he just made himself the main character.

Aeolia's plan:

Step 1: Unite the world through a shared hatred of Celestial Being
Step 2: Unite their minds through the control of A-Laws
Step 3: Have the Innovators move everyone to space, and then take over

That assumes that Alejandro intended to take over the place of the Innovators. Just before Alejandro dies, Ribbons calls to basically say "Haha, we played you all along. It's my world now, biatch!"

Well, Sci-Fi screwed up. The Season 1 finale of Gundam 00 contained a decent amount of fairly significant dialogue and scenes. Don't worry, it wasn't cut out.

It was instead compacted into less than half the screen, played at a much higher speed, and muted, to make way for ads.

I mean, goddamn, Sci-fi.

and with that my d/ls of fan subs beat watching the dub on TV.

But I digress,

I didn't want to chime into the Dragonball conversation because... well I just plain don't like it. So I'd rather keep my opinions to myself than drag it down for everyone else.

One of the new shows I was looking forward to, Viper's Creed, was a little disappointing as far the first episode goes, but hopefully things improve.

Skip Beat 18 was phenomenal as usual, I adore the series so much because it is just so well done in every aspect.

Even Akikan has kept me suckered in despite the fact of how absurd it is.

White Album 5 was everything I was expecting it to be, and more. A little cute, disappointing, and made me absolutely furious.

The manager is a nasty piece of work, I feel really let down in that regard.

The very beginning was quite cute though, if not disappointing.

But after that, this episode made me thoroughly angry... The manager, and even Touya. Touya in particular pissed me off royally. Wasn't it fecking obvious she was planning something? Gawd, if it were me I would have left her standing outside. But at least he didn't give in to her, he has that going for him. Again, I would have told her where she could get off.

But then, when Yuki called he didn't answer the phone! What the hell was the idiot thinking? You can't take five minutes to answer the phone when you know the girl you love is supposed to be calling you?

It just makes me want to mash my head into a wall.

But the drama is so good, it has to be to get me this emotionally engaged. But I swear... if there is not a happy ending...

I'll... do absolutely nothing but whine and complain about it.

But despite all that I'm still itching to watch episode 6 when I get home from work tonight.

And now, Shadowman's weekly spoiler's for Gundam 00:

Gundam 00 Episode 18:
-Another time skip, as I may have said, this one clocking in at four months. This is very weird, I think this is the only time a series has had two time-skips of this size.

-A-Laws spread their lies, claiming that Memento Mori had prevented the Elevator (which is now rebuilt, goddamn it's a good contractor who can do that kind of work in four months) from being damaged further...leaving out the fact that if Celestial Being hadn't intervened, Memento Mori would have destroyed the Elevator entirely.

-The Federation Forces is now directly controlled by A-Laws. Oh, that'll go well. Cati Mannequin has up and vanished, as well.

-..So Memento Mori 2 wasn't totally destroyed. Kind of peculiar, because it looked like it had been blown up by 00 Raiser's Ideon Sword (That's my name for it now. You can't stop me!). So, CB, not liking to leave their work unfinished, go to destroy it.

-Characters seem to have changed a bit; Marie seems to be sinking back into her Soma personality, and Saji is back to being an idiot, saying "This is the only time I'll help you" apparently forgetting the other times he piloted the 0 Riser, or directly helped Setsuna.

-Memento Mori 2 is blown up (I would actually be surprised if they didn't have a third one), once again with 00 Raiser's Ideon Sword.

-And then the opening credits happened. You heard me, all of that was just the first two minutes.

-Katharon members are being hunted down and killed by A-Laws and--MARINA IS SINGING THAT DAMN SONG AGAIN. It's like she surrounds herself with small children because you can't carpet bomb orphans (I think everyone in A-Laws would have a problem with that) so she's capable of doing any obnoxious act she wants! I mean that song is so--on the radio? When did she become a recording artist? And who was desperate enough to give her a contract?

-Okay, well, Marie has gone 100% back to Soma Pieres, including getting annoyed at being called Marie. Man, why is it that when every character finally gets to a point where they don't hate everyone around them and become likable, their father figure gets killed and sends all that development back?

-Ribbons acts like a jerk towards Wang Liu Mei, and will probably be surprised to find out how many times he's been stabbed in the back. He tells her that people will become Innovators, but not her. Apparently, becoming an Innovator is much like becoming a Newtype; I still don't have any idea.

-A mission is decided to take back Veda. Asses will be kicked, names will be taken, and men will look like women.

-Lockon is totally going out with Anew...people don't usually share beds if they aren't. Right as the two begin to make out, Anew does the glowing eyes that Tieria and Nena used to do, unknowingly summoning the A-Laws. Soma and Setsuna both sense this, and Setsuna is definitely becoming a Newtype.

-Regene (The guy who looks like Tieria and sounds like a chick) gives Wang Liu Mei something on paper, something she wants to give CB. I think I've lost count of the number of people who are trying to screw Ribbons over.

-Billy says he upgraded the Masurao's Trans-Am, and Graham puts on what I think is a new mask. (You can see the scar on the side of his face)

-Lockon, before taking off, tells Anew he loves her...over the radio...so the rest of the Ptolemaios bridge crew can hear. Ha.

-Post credits: Marina may or may not have been shot...A gun was pointed at her, but it faded to black before the gunshot was heard. If you've read my reviews, you may have sensed the slightest of pure hate of Marina. The idea that the attacker was shot and not Marina is very possible, but it's pretty late in the game, and with only an assumed seven episodes left (Assuming it only goes to fifty like most other Gundam series), it's not too far-fetched to kill off someone like Marina. To prepare us for when they kill someone important like Soma or Louise.

-Also, the paper Regene gave Wang Liu Mei was the location of Veda. Regene had instructions not to transmit it or convert it to data, but to directly deliver the paper to CB, since if she transmitted it, Ribbons would find out.

Chapter 3 is admittedly a bit meh, but Chapter 4 I was very very happy with. I hope you guys enjoy it because it was an absolute pleasure to write, I even threw in a Transformers reference (sort of) right at the beginning, I'm sure you'll notice it even if the date is off.

I did get a little sad toward the end though, and the final scene feels a little rushed, we'll just chalk that up to my emotional womanliness?

Gundam 00: Episode 19:
-Alright, Marina is not dead...grrr...When escaping though a mine shaft, Shirin gives her a gun, but Marina refuses (GAH!) saying if she did, she'd never be able to look the kids in the eye's again. Incidentally, if she doesn't, she won't be able to look them in the eyes because she will have been shot dead. This is why I can't stand her, she thinks that avoiding a fight is the best bet, even when you're fighting soldiers who apparently have no qualms about killing kids. Her naivete is just infuriating.

-Nothing to note in the big battle. Well, okay, except for one little tidbit: After Setsuna activated 00 Raiser Trans-Am, guess who decides to take over control of the Arios? Why, it's everyone's favorite psychotic schizo, Hallelujah!

-The 00 Raiser uses it's crazy Newtype mode to contract Louise, and apparently transports Saji and Louise to a station orbiting Earth. The two have a chat, but I'm okay with it because for once Saji isn't acting like a whiny bitch.

-Even though Saji says he isn't with Celestial Being, and Louise seems to get that, she still holds a gun to him, saying how she vowed to destroy Celestial Being...so she didn't quite catch on. Saji talks her down, and upon ending up back on the battlefield, Louise promptly goes nuts.

-Tieria (An awful lot of him lately) fights Revive, using six beam sabers at once. Yes, I said six. I don't think I've seen that, ever. In fact, the closest I can remember was General Grievous using four Lightsabers at once in various Star Wars media, and he potentially could have gone to five, but didn't.

-Tieria uses Seraphim Gundam to capture Revive's escape pod. Revive, on the Ptolemaios, pulls off his helmet (Shocking Lockon, who nitces that Revive looks exactly like Anew), but no one seems to notice his glowing eyes. Meanwhile, Anew announces herself as an Innovator, and shoots Lasse. Saw that one coming a mile away.

-Post credits: Ribbons finds out about all the backstabbing. Wang Liu Mei and Hong Long lose control of their ship, Ribbons Brightslaps Regene, hard enough to knock his glasses off. (And since I have similar glasses, I can say that that must have hurt like a sonuva bitch)

-Meanwhile, Nena, who is in fact using a new Gundam (I thought it was a Mobile Armor at first, nope, she'd had a Gundam all along), shoots down Wang Liu Mei.

Rezo is back, motherf***ers!

Gundam 00, episode 20:
-Oh God oh God oh God only 5 episodes left! Then what will I have left to believe in...?! Oh right, they won't stop making Gundam. Dur!

-Lasse is shot, not dead. Anew also took Mileina hostage. Anew and Revive are--surprise surprise--attempting to steal the 00 Gundam and the 0 Raiser. Unless Soma shoots Anew first, but we all know it can't end before the opening credits.

-In a bid to get Mileina back, Lockon agrees to go with Anew, bringing the Cherudim Gundam along as well. Setsuna shoots Lockon, causing Anew to let go of Mileina. Lockon grabs Mileina, and Anew escapes. Lockon tells Setsuna "you didn't have to hit me!" He literally took one for the team.

-As Revive escapes in the 0 Raiser (Anew was unable to get the 00 Gundam) Lockon and Setsuna make chase. Revive asks if they're really willing to damage the 0 Raiser, and Setsuna just says "We have a very talented tactical forecaster" Haro then begins jumping around the cockpit of the 0 Raiser, smacking Revive a few times, then hijacking the 0 Raiser, which docks with the 00 Gundam. Ha.

-In retaliation, Revive shoots up the cockpit of the 0 Raiser, then bails, leaving the 00 Gundam essentially with a bunch of dead weight.

-Lockon almost persuades Anew to come back after a lengthy battle, but then she tries to kill him. So Setsuna shoots her. They then have a traditional Amuro/Lalah moment...where they're both naked, again. At least they don't show Lockon's ass. Then, Anew dies.

-Post credits: Lockon beats the ever-loving **** out of Setsuna. Setsuna takes it the way he usually does: Like he's half-awake and doesn't know he's getting punched in the face repeatedly. You gotta respect the man's ability to take a punch.

You know that I am enjoying 00 as a series but come on.

We knew from the start that Anew was an Innovator, but she didn't. Characters like her & Marie & Tiera are ment to remember then fight for who they want to be after they figure out the truth.

The "Kill the double agent" storylines are for characters that know all along that they are double agents.

Instead they turn her into a misguided relationship tool to cause pilot angst.

I guess she'll be regulated to the level of the Gundam afterlife where she'll be able to have a nice long chat with Flay.

And Stella.

Gundam 00, episode 21
-Setsuna tells Saji that Anew wasn't going to come back, but he didn't know how he could tell. Saji tells Setsuna that something has changed about him. The lights go out for a power check, and Saji notices Setsuna's eyes are glowing like an Innovator. Can't say I saw that coming, I even gasped!

-Well now we know Innovators and Newtypes are basically one and the same here.

-CB heads to Lagrange Point 5, where Wang Liu Mei failed to die. Code Geass just called, they want their inability to die back.

-Lockon first apologizes for grinding Setsuna's jaw into a fine powder, but then aims a gun at him as Setsuna walks away. He's unable to fire, though I wouldn't have been surprised if he did and Setsuna dodged the bullet.

-Revive and Healing figure that Setsuna is becoming an Innovator, and the first human to become an Innovator. Though I think Nena Trinity would have something to say about that.

-Speaking of Bitchpants McCrabby, Nena finds Wang Liu Mei and shoots. Hong Long takes the shot instead, as well as the next nine shots Nena fires under the assumption that Hong Long will get out of the way. Also Regene is working with Nena, which is weird because only a couple episodes ago he was trying to help Wang Liu Mei--oh God why is his suit pink?

-Wang Liu Mei gives Setsun the location of Veda. On the way out, he's stopped by Graham, with his new black and white Sunanoo (New paint job looks fantastic by the way), and not wearing his mask. Graham lets Setsuna take 00 Raiser, in exchange for a good ol' fashion duel, just like President Jackson used to make.

-Then Nena shows up, and kills Wang Lui Mei.

-Ribbons contacts Nena through her Haro, telling her that someone's going to try to kill her, and the there will be revenge. Nena assumes it's Ali, (Revenge for killing her brothers) which would have been awesome, hell, I'd have paid to see that. Instead, Louise shows up. (Revenge for Nena killing the Halevy family) And then Louise totally trashes Nena's Throne, and the kills Nena. It sucks, because I actually still liked Nena.

-Louise has a...erm..."Kamille Bidan after killing Scirocco" moment. Happily talking to her parents inside of her Mobile Suit and asking for their praise before screaming bloody murder. That's pretty bad even by Mobile Suit Pilot standards.

-Post credits: Both Setsuna and Graham use Trans-Am and...crap they're naked again! At least they have the good sense not the bring their "unpleasant sections" to the glowy Newtype places. Graham also has a huge section of scarring on his right shoulder. I did not know that, Char clone usually only have a scar on their face. (And yes, it has been shown in each series...I'm going to go bleach my eyeballs now) Setsuna realizes that the whole point of GN drives and armed interventions was to get people to become Innovators, and that he IS becoming one.

Apathy is killing me lately. I don't feel like posting but I'm going to anyway because I don't like to neglect things.

Dropped Viper's Creed because it's rubbish.

Picked Asu no Yoichi back up again because I missed Washizu.

Praying for more episodes of Skip Beat.

Wondering what the heck is going on with Tytania, need more episodes now.

Been watching the Haruhi shorts which are quite amusing, I've enjoyed them.

Rideback is awesome, need more Rideback.

Kemono no Souja Erin is still very interesting, not an action packed show at all but very engaging for me.

Slayers is almost over, only five episodes to go, but Zuuma is finally out of the way and we can get onto the Rezo portion of the plot, the important bit...

Under a month now until the premiere of the new Full Metal Alchemist.

And... that is all...

Did they ever make a KISS anime? If not, they should.

It could be sort of a Sailor Moony Tranformation anime. KISS would turn from normal humans to their Make-up persona. lol, Space Man Power! Make-up! (Wow, that actualy fit) Fox Power! Make-up! I smell a good idea.
