I haven't read all of this thread but i think this is a plain stupid idea. we have enough problems getting the missions full on both sides, having the occaisional mech incarcerated for random amounts of time is only going to make this worse. at the higher levels it really is noticable when someone isn't around. and what's the point of having gore in prison? nobody will be able to score large amounts of XP off him?

from a canon POV it doesn't make sense, either bots are stored Deactivated in stasis pods(DW MTMTE guidebook/beastwars), have their programming removed from their body(G1 starscream's brigade), or have their circuits modified so they become essentially slave drones(desertion of the dinobots)
