Sooooo ... what's the chance of getting you guys to post your brags (not your mission requests) in the actual bragging thread?

I know what you're going to say, "The 'Cons will jump on us and be bad sports and mock us" to which I say, get over it, give it back (just don't be arrogant dicks about it), have fun.

I'm asking you to do this because it's bordering on isolationism. What makes HMW work is the community, and that community isn't going to work if one side is "hiding".

Like I said, I'm only asking, I can't force you to do it, but if people are genuine in wanting the HMW community to grow then someone has to take the steps.

Hey don't roll your eyes at me mister! The only person who doesn't post in both places is Jack so it really kind of looks like that is who you're talking about. Why else use words like "hiding" lol. Anyway, I can already see Jack lecturing about how this is the place for war talk and not bragging and so on and so forth, so I will only be posting my bug hunt stuff in here. 8-)

I hadn't really thought about it, due to this, but it's a good point. Admittedly, I hold back my good fights quite often so that I don't appear narcissistic or antagonistic :lol:

It's a great thread to have fun in, though!

I'm not trying to jump on any feet. Truly, I hadn't thought of this until it was mentioned here, but there is a lot to gain from the game by being more active in the HMWGC. I see most of you posting there, just not very often. If everyone posted just a little more often, there would be more to respond to, and the community would be much more active. An active forum is more attractive to new players, etc.

Rivalries, also. I've stressed the fun of a good rivalry before, so I won't beat that dead Mach Kick :roll:

, but I will say this:

My rivalry started, because I saw a post in the bragging thread by Bun-Bun calling me out for a humiliating defeat. I sent him a message congratulating him on it, which turned into a conversation on how I might be able to improve my performance for that level. The rivalry has become a great friendship. I only say this, because as much as they may appear antagonistic, they're really just having fun and passing time. Responding in kind or with kindness can go a long way.

Again, I'm not trying to beat a dead horse or to step on anyone's toes. I'd just like to see a more active community as well, not for my personal benefit but because I know how much more fun in can make the game (in my experiences, anyway). I'd like others to know that experience, also. Plus, some of these wins are hilariously awesome and should be shared :lol:
