4 points in avoid and 4 points in ram.
Was planning on waiting for the alt rotation to bring his current alt back up before attempting a stat reshuffle, so any thoughts on the load out would be welcome.

actually, i was asking because i saw you post this link and noticed how incredible you did with your current configuration. very impressive indeed and against foes (especially Darkscope) who “technically” should have scrapped Galeon.
if there as anything at all i could suggest it would only be to remove the firepower stat because it’s not being used and would be better allocated elsewhere, like strength, speed, endurance or courage.
but yes, i was doing some testing along with Wrecking Poof and a couple others as to how to balance a low level build to have it perform well tactically and also be effective stat wise; and with you relating the info you just did, and seeing it in action, it helps greatly, thank you!
the build you have for Galeon is definitely shown to be an effective warrior build, so good stuff

Yeah, I was expecting to lose that battle after seeing I was outnumbered.
Agreed that the firepower allocation isn't needed as I've got a lightsaber equipped, which is proving to be the more effective weapon in game at the moment, specially next to the Plasma blaster which is why I had the 2 stat points in firepower.

Despite losing we actually did pretty well in this 2v3 bout

A Couple of other decent battles:

1v2 victory!

I'm almost ready to send my top 'Bot to level 1, but I'm not sure how to go about it. It's going to take 26,000 xp, that much I do know. Now, will 3 speed and 3 avoid with a lightsaber be enough, or should I drop the lightsaber and go with 4 speed and 3 avoid with a null ray rifle? Will the extra point in speed make a difference?
I don't really want to swap the lightsaber for the null ray rifle because I think it's a good weapon, and I'll lose Gyrate's alt. I mean, I know it'll be back eventually (back sooner rather than later, being a common one), but I love it. lol

@steve -- If you think I should wait a little while, then I will. I would prefer to have a more solid level 1, but my impatience to get there is warring against me. I appreciate the advice, steve!

Really and truly, it's up to you, but I've found that playing things that safely in this game ends up slowing you down quite a lot. I spend more time in the CR, but jumping into risky missions and getting hits on lv3's as a lv1 gets you xp much more quickly (Note: if there were more 'Bot players in the ground missions, the 'Bots in this level range would stand a better chance
The true god of this game is RNG. You can defeat higher level characters with good rng. Then, even if you don't win, you'll (more times than not) get a good chunk of xp and energon for the effort and wait. Also, there would be more backup in the ground missions if more people just leveled to lv1 rather than stayed at lv0. More people at lv1 means more xp for everyone. You can have the best build, ever, and still fall to a lower level character, so I'm not sure how waiting helps.
That said, do whatever you'll find fun

Sort of an example of part of what Wingz is saying...
Bodge-Job, level five, manages to do 24% damage to Dewey, level eleven, and despite that being all he gets to do before being Stasis Locked still comes out the high scorer of the mission since Dewey's over twice his level.

Exactly
Doesn't just have to be Hell Missions, either. It works similarly in at-level missions, also. Speed/Avoid comes through for my horse a lot against multiple opponents. This isn't rare for him. The more higher level targets there are, the more the possibility, even if only a few hits (or one hit in Hell Missions) are obtained. At level 0, you don't have that, which slows things down a lot.

So much wisdom filling my mind right now. lol Wingz and Turbo, this is great to know, thank you both.
I have to admit, having advice hit me from two sides has me pondering about what to do, but that’s absolutely fine.
That xp haul, though, turbo... I had to wipe the drool pouring from my mouth. Excuse the mess; I know the floor has recently been polished.

That's nothing... Steve2275 is a member of the 'HMW Millionaire's Club' with his Repairers; I've seen him come in at over a million XP in some Hell: Inferno missions.
Which actually leads to another good point; some will argue about saving Repair until you reach higher levels, I disagree. Repair is a trait that should be learned early and used often since your team benefits from it as well as you. Not only does it increase your chances for good XP gain since Repair targets your own team (meaning that suddenly Steve's level 11's or my Level 5's become XP generators for level 1 Repairers), but it also keeps your teammates in the fight longer, allows them to score more XP themselves, and increases the chances of an Autobot Victory.

This is also a really good point.
I swear by the medic life. Every time I make a medic, they skyrocket in levels. For example, I've only been playing in the HMW for about 3-3.5 months, but I have a character that is lv6 and another that is lv5 (that started as a medic). Both got where they are by getting huuuuuge xp hauls in Hell Missions by stacking endurance and repair. Here is an example of one. My lv1s can usually pull off a 40K here and a 60K there with a few that go higher. I know I had one higher, but this is the highest one I have saved.
It's not a strategy without it's dangers, by any means. You'll get 0s, too, when rng just slaps you in the face, but getting a heal on any character 9-11 is huge!
EDIT: No problem

We're all taking a bit of beating today I think. For the most part my bots are at least dishing out some damage back though.
