The chrome on the giftset version of Godbomber gleams beautifully. Yowza.

Agreed about him being a fantastic shelf presence, that's why I keep mine on my dresser.

Chrome on transformers is one of my favorite things - molotow markers are some of the best investments I've ever made :-P

I need to get some myself one of these days. It would help restore my G1s, and let me spruce up some other figures as well.

Tracks is such an awesome 80's toy. The Corvette mode is perfect, and one of my favorite cars! The flight mode, though droll, is very awesome! The robot mode is brilliant and looks just as good as the other two modes! Sadly, he is starting to break at the ankles. I've already had to repair the right ankle, and the left one is starting to develop a crack. So this will be his last time in robot mode before being put back into his box for display. I just needed to get some good quality pics of him before sealing him away~

@Fires_Of_Inferno G1 Tracks is indeed a cool toy.
Hopefully when they get to Tracks in the WFC trilogy, his new mold will have a flight mode more like the G1 toy's than the RTS figure had. The flight mode on that was not nearly as good-looking.

Your G1 Tracks is in better shape than mine; mine is missing an arm (he was a secondhand purchase).

At least Tracks' plastic has aged a lot better than Mirage's. My advice to anyone who wants a G1 Mirage: Get one of those counterfeit "reissues". It's cheaper than getting a legit Mirage complete, and the counterfeit will have nice new plastic that doesn't crack if you look at it crosseyed and is probably of better quality than the G1 toy's plastic ever was.

Brought these guys out of storage. The Basic figures were almost better than some of the bigger figures because of the amount of articulation that was afforded by the balljoints they all used.

EDIT: In terms of articulation I mean. The transformations for the basic figures didn't start getting good until the second year.

Covid Crew, Assemble!!!!

This is my Covid Crew, all of these were bought during grocery runs or via mail since the shelter in place order went into effect for Illinois. Funny, before the pandemic, I didn't really collect Studio Series aside from a select few (sales and boredom can be dangerous to your wallet).

Yeah, I know that thing has holes all over it and has no chance of working that well, I just don't have the heart to tell him. His eyes are basically in his mouth so a regular mask won't do, and he worked so hard on it, he even gave it dreads. The rest of us will just extra distance around him a bit.

Yeah, that is why I had to add the closer shots. If you look close enough, even Laserbeak has one.
