Okay, so before I leveled Feral Eyes to L4, I could put him in the 1-11 and know that, while he would be thrashed within an inch of his life, the xp he got more than made up for it. Now though his reliability has dropped and I'm unsure of what to do with him. Is it just that more stronger bots have turned up so he's getting beaten down faster? Or is it the way I've built him up?
My medic has got the same issues as well funnily enough...
Here's the stats:
Feral Eyes
Level 4
Total xp: 1,018,567
Str: 3
Int: 0
Spd: 7
End: 5
Rank: 0
Crg: 2
Frp: 2
Skl: 4

Int: 6
Spd: 4
End: 1
Rank: 0
Crg: 1

Why 4 in skill for Feral Eyes? You could do 4 fp/2 skl for incendiary emitters. If you want to strafe, just focus on firepower. Would also suggest 5 end minimum. Get str up to reduce ram stuns.
Westatron doesnt need that much int to heal. just 1 or 2 will do until you reach level 4 or 5+.
Also not sure if you want to strafe at such a low level.. it is slower unless you get lucky in hell missions.

On my phone, so it’ll be a brief message XD
Your medic needs more endurance. Int isn’t a priority, because the endurance of the target you heal also increases your heal’s effectiveness. Focusing on endurance to lessen damage done to him by tactics and strength to lessen the stun will likely help a lot. Armor is very helpful for a medic, also, but at his xp range not necessarily probable. Rank 6 is the armor I tend to use to get through until rank 10, but it’s normally not feasible to add it until level 4 or 5. Otherwise, he looks fine.
EDIT: Phase has a point about strafe. At lower levels, I’d recommend staying with ram or avoid as a secondary tactic, or just going repair only. If you want to stay with strafe, I’d wait to put points into it. Number 1 priority in hell for a low level medic is surviving.

Thanks for the help so far
truth is these two have never undergone a reset so some of the values are from when I first started and wanted to get the best weapons which is why his Skl is 4 when, strafing, needs it in firepower. In amother thread I was sold on the virtues of Strafe because it apparently ignores armour?

Yes, it does. At a later level, repair/strafe is monstrous

It’s ultimately up to you when you prefer to focus on strafe. I stay with avoid and ram, personally, because their feeder stats double as defensive stats. Strafe/firepower does not. That said, I’d personally wait until your defense is higher.

Personally I don't use the 1-11 missions as any benchmark. I look at the missions of compatible levels ie the ones within two or three of your character. For us low level players, getting anything in the 1-11 mission is more of sheer luck depending who is in them. I have done fairly well especially in the healing of nothing higher than a L9 is in them.
As for the strafe question, I would agree it is better at higher levels even though. My top half does have strafe either as secondary or sole tactic. If I have on complaint of my own team, it is avoid heavy with 10 of 12 having it somewhere.
The question I have is what weapons are you using?

If it's of any help, here the current stats for my healer, a lvl 4, using a Ram/Heal combo:
Total XP: 1,442,096xp
STR: 0
INT: 4
SPD: 6
END: 8
RNK: 0
CRG: 4
FRP: 3
SKL: 2
TACTICS
Ram: 2
Repair: 8
He's been doing alright in 1-11 hell missions, and as long he's not fighting alone in a battle range appropriate for his lvl, he's alright.

I need to go through the alt list for the cons again, or don't think I've seen a combo of ram and repair.
Thanks for all the advice so far, I'm going to get a few minutes tonight to do a couple of resets and balance things where needed.
@Sumo both are using lightsabers as I'm an idiot who forgot that really Dr westatron needed a gun for strafing... (or can you really Strafe with a light saber?) Though looking through my team there is one con that I really need to reset again as I forgot to give him points in either Skl or frp meaning he just goes around trying to gum bots to death. Before you ask, he has no Str to even back that up.

But the idea of strafing doesn't really lend itself to a lightsaber...does strength affect the damage done during a strafing run?

As far as Alt categories go, you'll want to look at:
Construction Vehicles
Heavy Rescue Vehicle
Helpful Land Animal

Thanks bun-bun, I'll check it out once I get a minute, once the right alt is there I'll reset the good doctor. Also I thought if anyone else needed help with builds (more so the newer players) they could post in this thread for help.

The problem I see with this build is that you can make as much from ram at this level as you can from repair. Ideally with ram being cheaper you would prioritise it then repair.
Edit: my mistake, saw you are using helpful land animal, not heavy rescue vehicle as I thought.

Okay, after careful consideration of the advice in this thread, I've reconfigured Feral Eyes and the good doctor, hopefully I'll see some improvements
I've also gone back over and turned my weakest member into a medic through the helpful air animal alt.
