I gotta give it to Soundwave. Bumblebee just f**ked him up. I actually gave a "hell yeah!" shout in the theater when I saw it.

Megatron. He's gotten pretty messed up in all three movies, so it was cool to finally see what it would take to put him down for good. Plus it was a Mortal Kombat-style decapitation, which is awesome.

Megatron's death was definitely my WTF moment of the movie, but Soundwave getting gutted and decapitated was just pure WIN.

My favorite would have to be Sentinel Prime's.... after the whole movie, it was nice to see Optimus just embed a bullet straight through his face, adding to his Collection of course

Ironhide. I didn't read any spoiler before it of that happening that way (I've read he gets a leader figure because he may die, but I thought it would be in a greater battle), so it was a true WTF??? moment for me. And him becoming rust-dust made my jaw drop.

I can't call any decepticon deaths "best" because most of them were just sad.

I agree with most decepticon deaths being sad, they all went down either fast or stupidly.
Q's death scene was pretty brutal though.

Agreed,unlike the other movies i actually felt emotion st this part in the movie.Seeing him get gunned down by my fvorite character was brutal...But seeing Soundwave getting everyones "favorite" bot shove his arm cannon into Wave's chest then blowing his face off made me mad...

For originally being introduced as a sniveling Decepti-snitch, I thought Wheelie (plus Brains) went out honorably as HEROES.... if indeed they died.

Ironhide was my biggest WTF because I too thought he would die in a battle where he was always in the thick of things. Shot in the back by someone thought to be a friend was not the "honorable" death I thought a warrior of his caliber deserved, which I think made it so impactful!!!!

The Decepti-deaths were all tragic in terms of, "Damn, now they're gone so reboot here we come!" was what kept running through my head. No Meg, no Screamer, no Shocky or SW.... the core of G1 villains are gone, save for Dr. Archeville (his name is drawing a blank from my brain).

Dug the pure brutality of Q's execution, especially with him pleading for a reprieve. But IH's was the best cause it filled me with such a sense of betrayal & realizing that in war, there are no friends at the top!

I have to admit, my arm was trembling in the IH death scene. Trully a sad and tragic death for one of the most memorable Bot's from the Bayverse.

I'm glad they gave us a Leader figure, because he deserved it.
Made me just hate Sentinel even more, and made it easy not to care when Prime busted a cap in his ass.

I think that was the point. To get people riled up about Sentinel's betrayal. If he didn't kill anyone and just destroyed the base, it would have been just "eh, whatever" to most people. But this way someone they cared about and emotionally invested in was violently and treacherously taken from them, so there had to be payback.

I wish i could agree on the Ironhide thing, but aside from the Mr. Badass one liners he was given throughout the entirety of the series, it wasn't too big of a deal when he died, although my wife cried when he died, if that gives you any credence.

To me, the best was...i can't remember now if it was Soundwave or Q, but the one where the gun gets rammed into the dude's chest and the other dude blows his head off? Thats was cool. lol

Most of the deaths (aside from the brought-down-by-human-fire deaths) were pretty brutal, but I'd have to give the best death to Ironhide.
This is not only because of the senselessness of Sentinel's attack, but also watching Ironhide rust from the inside out as a result, and fall in a heap of oxidized metal all the while wondering "Why" (You can see it in the look on his face just before his head rusts apart). For a character who honestly wasn't THAT important to me (I only just got my first movieverse Ironhide figure last month) to die in a way that unsettled me so... it was not only the most visually interesting with the rusting effect, but the most important to me in terms of the story.

Honourable mention goes to Megatron because you could tell Prime was just sick of his sh*t. Ripped him apart with only one arm, and as mentioned, added to his headcount.

I was actually kinda hoping he would, too. Or at least mess him up pretty bad. Anyway, my favorite death was probably a tie between Sentinel's and Ironhide's (the only thing that would've made 'Hide's better is if they had somehow squeezed in a "Such heroic nonsense" kinda line from Sentinel).
