Ohio is do-able. I can deal with that. It will be like driving to Celebration III in Indiana. Only a 12-13 hour drive. I'm gonna have to go this year cause who knows where I will be after this last year of college. But just two weeks after Anime Detour? I'm gonna have no cash.

So what goes on at botcon? Panels, merchandise, showings of any kind, (room parties?!?!?!)? I mostly want to go for curiosity sake, but would love to hear stories!

Naw. Registration for the Con and the Hotel are generally completely separate things. YOu should still be able to go w/o making hotel reservations.

EDIT: Holy s**t!!! I just checked prices and it makes me cry. If there is any chance of someone wanting to share a room to split the cost?

I guess I'll be making an appearance. I'll probably just come for sunday so I can enjoy the Hasbro panel. No big investment this time, no hotels or anything. Or maybe I'll make a trip to Cedar Point and go on some roller coasters.

Really depends on what the figure set is.

Okay so this is awesome. I am in Columbus Ohio and can be down there in a an hour and a half. I have wanted to go to this for 2 years now but never had the opportunity. As a relative new comer to hardcore transfandom I have some questions.

Is there alot of cool stuff to buy...G1, Alt, MP, BT etc.

How many people attend?

Is there a lot to do?

I looked over the old 2007 site and it looks really fun sweet. Should I start saving now?

What's kind of sad is that I just found out that I my wife and I might be in hawaii at that time...would have been nice to kill two birds with one stone.

Anyway, If that vacation gets postponed and i can scrape together the funds...i'm definately in.
