Why Dreamwave? He was barely in there save for one quick cameo.

He clearly meant IDW Scorponok. It's not an uncommon mistake to get Dreamwave (DW) and IDW mixed up.

Though, I doubt this head would look that good on the G1 figure anyway since it would look tiiiiiny.

Generations Rattrap into Packrat
Universe Cheetor into CatSCAN
Generations Arcee into Roulette and Shadow Striker
Generations WFC Bumblebee into Glyph and Tap Out
Apeling from Cybertron Beast Optimus Prime

Wow. I've not been a fan of the BotCon sets for quite some time now but even I have to admit that I am well and thoroughly impressed with this reveal.
That's right, Capt. Negative is actually giving two "thumbs up" to the BotCon crew for pulling out the big guns. A few aspects of the color apps. bug me slightly but that's just me. I can neither afford to attend nor could I afford the set even if I could make it down there so I've got no room to bitch. Those of you attending and getting your hands on this figure, congratulations and have loads of fun with this bad boy.

Which is especially a shame since the Energon Scorponok head even looks like BlackZarak's cartoon head (particularly the face), only colored differently and given a visor.

Well, actually I was referring to the Liefeldian proportions Pat Lee gave several TFs, including Fort Max, and assuming it transferred to his counterpart.

Does IDW Scorponok look like that? It's been too long since I read Maximum Dinobots.

And I still say that despite the size, so many fans will want to put this on the original toy that I wouldn't be surprised if FunPub cranked out extras of Olin relative to the box's centerpiece he attaches to, as many fans will want two. If not, I foresee the company that KOed the infamous box of 10 heads doing a new run of 11.
