They're taking questions on Twitter about it right now, so they're probably about to reveal it.

Known so far:

- Mold is from 2006
- Smaller than Scorponok
- No new head mold
- No gimmick (Headmaster, Targetmaster, Brainmaster, etc.)
- Is not Dai Atlas
- Character is from Japanese G1 cartoon, but not Victory (so, Headmasters, Masterforce, or Zone)
- Not a beast of any sort

I hope it's not Classics OP or Universe Inferno as Ginrai.

I love Ginrai, but he's too close in colors to any typical Optimus figure.

I'm guessing Ginrai, but could be a curveball and be Roadfire or something like that.

Edit: they just said it wasn't using the Jetfire mold, so probably Classics OP. Doubt they would use Grimlock or Mirage.

They also just confirmed it's a land based alt mode and the character is from Masterforce.

If it isn't Ginrai out of the '06 Classics Prime mold, I'll be surprised. If the deco is right, could be a super cool toy (think white and grey with just a touch of red, more based on the powermaster than the transtector).

Other than Ranger out of the Mirage mold I don't know what else it could be based on the hints they gave. The whole "Land-Based Alt Mode" hint made me rule out Browning.

This is either a good point, or Pete using semantic trickery. Could be referring to the toy not being a Power/Godmaster, rather than the character?

I can't really see a Fire Guts version working since, fictionally speaking, the form is a temporary one used for an attack or two. Unless Ginrai is permanently attacking, there's gonna need to be some reason for why his body is always on fire.

What about the Jetfire mold? Are there any Masterforce dudes he could work for? A Wings Universe version could even have a Decepticon defect to the Autobots.

Hydra or Buster maybe? They said it specifically wasn't the Jetfire mold though.

I'm about off to lunch, but just one more thought on Fire Guts Ginrai - they could include that in the set and then draw in the TF: Cloud colors as him "normally", thus making more people want to buy that version that's available in... the club store. Think about it. But not hard, because it's probably not true.

It's a Voyager mold.

*sigh* I guess Classics Prime as Ginrai is inevitable at this point. Unless anyone can think of another Masterforce character that mold could possibly work for.
