And It's $179.00 for a loose set only if you already bought the box set? In other words you can't just buy a loose set for $179.00? Is that right? So we get the rest of the seekers, who are the other 2 figures?

Well, basically this is how it works:

1) There is a non-attendee boxed set of the five figures for $329 for non-club member and $279 for club members.
2) You can get the 5 figure set in a "loose set" (basically in plastic baggies) for $179 if you purchase the Primus (attendee pkg) or Iacon (non-attendee) pkg.

Those are the two ways of getting it. Obviously the loose set would be the cheapest. But if that is all you can afford then you'll have to beg someone who is going to Botcon or already purchasing the non-attendee pkg to get the loose set for you.

Now keep in mind that there will undoubtedly be people purchasing a loose set to sell on Ebay after Botcon. But those sets will surely go for more than the $179 the seller will have paid for them. All the more reason to just buy the non-attendee package at least.

Edit: The remaining figures are Dreadwing & Bugbite which they have not unvieled yet. Based on the pattern of preview pics I'd say the next figure will be unvieled by Monday.
Collection Count: Just enough G1 & Classics to make this look good!

How would a loose set be the cheapest? You still have to purchase the $329 or $279 packages on top of the $179 for the loose ones.

I think what he meant was that when people say that because they can't go to Botcon they can't get them, he means that they never make mention of the possibility of purchasing the Iacon package. Instead it sounds like they think that the only way to get them is to actually be there.

It has been explained multiple times here and other boards that there is a way to get them for non attendees.

As Roboto750 clearly states in his response..

The wings and tail fins are a nice change, and the sculpting is better than I was anticipating.
There is only one minor problem with Thrust though... he has the same blue paint that Thundercracker and Ramjet have, it may only be a small square on his crotch, but its still has no place being there on a red jet fighter.
Awesomesauce; Use it, you know you want to.

This makes me just as angry as ThunderCracker.

However, I was very unsure on how to go about making a custom Thrust and this pick gave me some very good ideas.

Now I need another StarScream, a RamJet, and a sacraficial Beast Wars TM Megatron.

The even cooler part is, I can get a Dirge out of this too. I never liked Dirge as a conehead. So StarScream with RamJets wings and a little air drying soft rubber and I have my Seekers!

The original post that I responded to referenced not being able to go to Botcon, meaning they could not get the exclusives for that reason. It mentioned nothing about affording them. Beyond this post though (not singling anyone out here), I have seen several posts in several threads from people who have completely skipped over the non-attendee package as a whole, despite the price.

So, yes, they are available to those who cannot attend Botcon, but are willing to spend the money.

I'm wondering if the other seeker ( if it is) will be a repaint of this new Thrust mold. Because there are 2 of the ramjet mold, and 3 of the starscream mold... it would make sense to reuse the new thrust mold.

And still bugbite... I espected a white bumblebee, but then everyone said Bugbite is a voyager or leader sized figure. I also thought we'd see a decepticon version of jetfire in this set.

Very happy I ordered two of these!

Suspicion is that the Jetfire repaint is Dreadwind or Dreadwing or something. I always mix them up.

Can anybody here do math? There are at least 5 figures in the set. If you get the non-atendee package for $279, that's about $55 a figure.

So far I have seen the people that can either easily afford or are able to rationalize purchasing these figures defending their exclusivity, while the ones that can't and aren't have decried it.

So I'm wondering if there's a person out there who wants these figures, knows that their odds of being able to get them are slim to none, but is somehow comforted by the idea that they will exist somewhere.
