william-james88 wrote:But Hasbro UK doesn't handle that part, they just take the orders and have them ship out. The bad distribution part is on behalf of retailers alone. They order the toys and they put them on the shelves, that part is all up to them. The same situation happened in the US at the end of last year. Hasbro had delivered all their TR figures to retailers but it was retailers who did not put them on the shelves, so it looked like the only place stocking them was a pharmacy. So people moaned about how Hasbro could have such terrible distribution but in reality, Hasbro had no more toys to give, everything was sold out and retailers just didn't stock their shelves. And then they had too much in their warehouses, so places like Target and Walmart reduced the price.

otherwise he is a bit plain.

He's not out yet anywhere and isnt due out till March, so at least wait till then. And the RID toys get repacked in later waves so I am sure you will get Soundwave eventually.

i think he means the tr version.
or you could be right.

Oh no, I am wrong, I reread the post and now I get it, he meant TR Soundwave. But that doesnt make sense then because he's been available at retail for months. You can get him right now on amazon for $40, even less than he would be in stores https://www.amazon.com/Transformers-Gen ... +soundwave
So I dont get why anybody is afraid of not getting him, you can get him right now in just a few clicks.
Brokebot wrote:Actually, that's what I meant by him being Sky Lynxed - never showing up on a retail shelf and being forced to order one online. But the people may now rejoice, for I have found Soundwave at a Target in Bluffton, SC. They also had a few Kickbacks, Gnaws, and Bumblebees if anyone is interested. Now that my TR collection is complete, I begin the long wait for whatever line replaces it.

Did he cost you more than $40+ tax?

$45.99 + tax. I effectively paid about $9 for instant gratification and the ability to pick a box that hadn't been used like a soccer ball by UPS - a non-shipping and no-handling fee, if you will.
