Being based on a design HasTak's designers were used to probably helped, even if the flatnose truck mode added extra wrinkles.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Very nice! That is a great figure, one of the best from AOE.
Yes, yes it is.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:I too have an AOE figure that's hanging around. This thing is slick.
Probably helps that he was made as Hot Rod from the start instead of being a Lockdown retool.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:I managed to get my hands on some old Human Alliance figures, as well as a Movie the Best repaint of one, and I have been enjoying them. These will all eventually end up on my MP scale shelf I think.
This 3P Hot Rod will also go on that shelf. He is really good, and most importantly, gets his live action physiology right with regards to the door wings, wheels, and chest.

Found an original ROTF Mixmaster at a collectors store, it’s pretty fun! Transformation actually isn’t too bad, though trying to pose him in bot mode is definitely tricky.
D-Maximal_Primal wrote:They work in bot mode yep, though they are clumsy in bot mode.
nice Mixmaster. I want to hunt down more of the original RotF constructicons. I have Long Haul and Demolishor, but I want Mixmaster and Rampage to have the original 4 too

It's mostly how his parts interfere with eachother, like the designers didn't notice the clipping in the CAD file or something, not to mention some parts have a hard time aligning properly.
