Talk about a low blow to the gut. It's disappointing news as I planned to buy one. Even Had it on pre-order since November 2013.

BTS deciding to cancel this doesn't add up. As BTS had contracts with over Twenty import sites that all pre-paid for the factory cost of this Nova lord.

Thinking something else happened that caused BTS to cancel Nova lord. Noticed the BTS company hasn't created or released a new toy in ages. So perhaps the company itself was on the way out like Impossible toys was.
Perhaps IT and BTS were brother and sister family tree companies. When one company died, it made the other company die also.

Speculating if BTS cancelled Nova lord due to Clonedroid teasing a image pic and a threat of them KO copying the toy.

Are some forgetting about Clonedroid releasing a KO of BTS Nova Lord?

It's Plausible Clonedroid was able to steal the CAD files from the overseas factory. When BTS was using those CAD files in the factory for Nova lord last year. when BTS created a few test shots of the Nova Lord toy and posted pics online last year.

What if BTS was able to sell the CAD files for Nova lord to another 3rd party company or KO company. Like TFC did when they sold the CAD files for the Dinobot combiner and stars defensor to a KO company that Sir toys knows.

Perhaps Sir toys and his KO buddies can contact BTS and buy the Nova Lord Cad files from them.

Sounds more like the amount of pre-orders was too low to justify production. I told you the character was rather obscure among most G1 fans. Oh well, you can always change your screen name to GiveMeOverlord and lurk in MMC threads demanding all their other projects be cancelled.

You have no imports sites pre-orders sales data to support your wild false accustations.

Nobody knows the reason why BTS cancelled Nova other than BTS and they aren't sharing info right now. So please stop stating your speculation as fact.

You haven't a clue how many fans were interested in buying this toy. So please stop saying there was no interest. when your clueless like the rest of us regular fans.

Masterforce Overlord is only Obsecure for the Kids. and the kids are not buying 3rd party TF toys.

Most buyers of 3rd party TF toys are adult fans who are well versed in most of the TF cartoons episodes from america,japan and canada, comics and toys.

Most adult fans in their late 20's, 30's, 40's+ who post on forums. Know who MF overlord is. They Have seen Those Japanese Headmasters, Masterforce and Victory cartoons. They've seen pics of all of these Japanese exclusive G-1 toys.

This is the internet age. Fans can easily for free look up characters bios, Toy pics, Media pics. Even Watch all of the TF cartoons episodes for free legally all over the internet

Those Takara Exclusive G-1 TF cartoons are easy and cheap to buy on DVDS thanks to Shout, Rhino, Metrodome and maybe others.

Hasbro in the USA has even re-introduced the Overlord character toy a few times. in the early 2000's Hasbro released that 2 inch PVC HOC Overlord figure they called Gigatron. TFCC Botcon released that Overlord convention toy. Those IDW TF comics had overlord as the star villian Twice so far.

Calling Overlord a obsecure character toy, for fans is just you tring to sart trouble and harass. Masterforce overlord was one of the core star characters in the Masterforce cartoon series. Overlord was the Decepticon leader for Seventy-Five percent of the cartoon series until BlackZarak took over.

You haven't a clue what Obsecure means. So please look it up for free on the internet.

This might be a not updated stock report. Same thing happened to hobbysearch when they still had for pre order the TF Go! Samurai/Shinobi team set when it was cancelled. (I got them to correct the error)

I think it's fair to say Overlord is obscure. He came in very late in the game. Although I don't know if he's obscure internationally he can't be as well known as Grimlock or Galvatron.

BBTS holds preorders for years; if they've cancelled them I think it's fair to say this item's toast. And it's really too bad since Metroplex has upped the scale game and Xovegn's Trailerforce could have used a bigger bad guy to match up with it.

Wondering if the TFCon convention this weekend,Will give buyers of BTS. any updates on The BTS Company and it's products. While companies don't need to share private company info with buyers. It would be nice to know if the BTS company is dead. Also it would be nice to know what happened to Nova Lord.
