That isn' the issue. The issue is that the Mods sad they did not want the link posted. I don't see how this is complciated in any way.

Regarding the description of Prowl, the only pic posted so far is of Sunstreaker and the rocketpack on the roof will be on his back.

I'm not pushing for piracy or anything. But he's got a point.

The end goal anyway, is to sell as many of these toys as possible. The more people see it, the earlier many of them will be saving up for the release.

This is not like TF2 top secret CIA thing.

Personally I thinkit's all silly.

The Club for being very cloak and dagger over something that will almost certainly see a public release very shortly.

And those begging to see one picture of something they won't be able to buy for months.

When the release date gets here you'll be able to admire it in all it's glory before deciding to buy it.

Seeing it earlier isn't going to make it look any better.

How big is an Ultra size?

Bigger than voyager, smaller than Leader. Retails for $25 if I recall.

An ultra-sized Powerglide is not a great idea, before images.

Two molds have come out recently that could be used, maybe three, Energon Terradive, and Cybertron Wing Saber, and the minicon from the Clear Skies Team. All were of similar alt modes, and with a little head sculpt change could be passable.

But who am I to say what they do?

BTW the only picture shown is Sunstreaker robot and alt mode. They have not shown us any of the others except Onslaught from earlier, and then the pics from the comic-con that were also shown at Botcon.

Apparently, some people have never joined clubs before getting privileged information like a band's newest track listings on their album, or ticket and concert information before it is available to the ticket retailers, or general public. Nobody seems to complain about these, or Sports team collector clubs...with access to autograph sessions, discounts on team tickets, access to member only dinners, and team locker rooms before games.



Coy attitudes toward those who join clubs for the privileges and exclusives don't reflect poorly on anyone, but yourself.

As regular consumers, you should wait like every other normal person. There's no rule that says Hasbro has to release these images. They can advertise them upon release, just like they normally do and they will sell fine.

The image was given as a gift from Hasbro TO the Club to release to club members. If you are too stubborn to join the club, quit whining about not having access to privileged information.

It's as simple as that.

No matter though, i'll get a pic off of someone here or look at it on Google onces its uploaded in a few days.

No, the Club posted photos for members as a service to members. It's a pretty basic idea really: if you pay for something, you should get something in return. If I go to the store to purchase the new Universe figures, when I had my money to the cashier I am entitled to take the figures out of the store with me. Since I joined the Club, I should get something for my money, and in my opinion, I certainly do, and it ain't pictures of upcoming product. I get discounts on Club exclusive figures, an exclusiv e figure each year, the magazine which I find informative and worthwhile, and then I get information like this. PS---Club member, and when I log in I can't even see the damn pictures! Whatever, $40 is a lot for a picture, that's why I joined the Club for the actual benefits which have been mentioned so many times that now people are just complaining for complaints' sake. If the Club membership isn't worth it to you, then don't join. No one forces any of us to join the Club, in fact.
MAybe I missed something, but doesn't 'exclusive' mean that its not readily available to everyone? Like if I were a Noble Prize winner, I'd be in 'exclusive' company. I'm not, but I don't feel like I should just be given a Noble Prize because Al Gore got one and now I want one too.
The Club is like everything else in the world, really. If you don't like it or don't want it or can't afford it, just don't feel like you have to go in for it.

So, I can't see the picture, and I paid my membership, but the only real thing that counts is that we'll have Seacons in April.

With all the other info released, which is probably better than the picture, it's amazing what controversy a single picture has caused. It really is funny.

I joined last month just so I could get a discount on both the Seacon set and my admission to Botcon. I can't log into their website to see the picture either and I really don't mind. One picture of a single prototype is not the reason I paid $40 for this year.

Even without logging in I know who is in the first wave, that sunstreaker "resembles" his concept art, and that he and Siseswipe will have 2 different transformations. Those facts alone are good enough for me. I don't see the big deal that people are making out of this, so you can't see a picture of a toy that will be released in 4 or 5 months. Just be patient.

To be honest I actually would have preffered the news to be about the Botcon set, but revealing Universe wave one was a very nice gesture the club did for everybody.

Once you get your first newsletter, you can log in. Your Club account info is on that mailing label.

See, for those who are impaient.

I buy a fair amount of hasbro's goodies, however, I do not feel it's my "entitlement" to see these pictures. To be very frank, I couldn't care less. The term Exclusive has the root word exclude in it. that means to keep something out.

For me, I haven't seen the point in joining the club. A few reason, may I explain.

one: I am so character specific, that I doubt joining the club would make much of a difference to me. It would not make prices more discounted and as it is, I am a bit tight on cash.

two: I have considered joining, but until I am given some reason that makes me want to jump and say, holy slag! I'm missing that! I can't be bothered.

three: I can be very patient. Starscream aside, I don't usually work myself into a fanatical frenzy about anything. eh, maybe lord of the rings....

four: Like someone said, he joined to get discount to botcon and the seacons. As much as I would like to go to the botcon one year, it's not gonna happen unless it ends up in canada. I doubt that very much.

five: I really can't afford to right now.

six: When is that Starscream bust coming from diamond select?



All in all, I still find the concept of exclusives a bit irritating. Especially since exclusive anything (I want) rarely seems to make it into canada or anywhere near me.

So to sum up. If you did not pay for the privlage to see the new release pics and whatnot, then it is not your entitlement. If you want to see the pics, be patient. Good things come to those who wait.

WOOOOOOOOOOW, people chill, its only a damn picture, and fair play, id expect these type of things if i was paying all that money out every year. Its not like its gonna kill you to wait a wee while longer to see them, you didnt even know they existed 24hrs ago.

Just for the record ... there is NO debate here on Seibertron.com about respecting the wishes of the Club. If an image is meant to be exclusive to Club members ... that's how it should and will remain here on Seibertron.com. The Club members pay an annual fee to help keep the Club going. I pay this annual fee so that I can be part of that Club, to continue supporting my hobby and so that I can get first dibs on exclusive content such as this.

I have appreciated when people have in the past, leaked the images for all to see.
I have not, and never will EXPECT people to do so and I don't think any should be given a hard time for not doing so.

It's spolit and ungrateful.

If this were a bunch of high demand figures at a price and availability few can afford, I could understand such strong feelings, but it's pictures.
Hasbro always release the images later themselves. We will get them.
Members get a few weeks exclusivity.
It's not that big a deal.

Anyone have a rough street date for these? Last I remember they were set for a fall release. I hope so, since that will give me time to save up to buy all of them!

And Hasbro crew, if your seeing this, keep going with the 1984 Classics! (Wheeljack, Ratchet/Ironhide, Trailbreaker, Brawn, etc!)
These guys are dying for a new, detailed look.

So, we know three wave 1 dlx, and two wave 2 ult. What good is that? What about the ultra for wave 1? The dlx for wave 2?


Where the feck is Sidedswipe? Pushing him back to wave 3 is plain stupid. It means that most likely the UK will not see him


I'm impressed with the effort Zemper. Both that that went into your drawing, and the effort Hasbro put into remoulding Sunstreaker from the Sideswipe mould

I'm glad Prowl made it into the first wave. I just wonder what waves we can expect the ineveitable return of Smokescreen and Bluestreak in, along with Sideswipe.

UK seems to get them in May.
