But... as I transformed this guy, and squeamishly stood him on my desk, I couldn't fight the joy I found in the design of this figure and all his 1980's design style glory. Well its due to how small his waist is in comparison. Does it look awkward when you pose him using the waist swivel?
Funny how her big stupid back pack is excusable because we finally get an Arcee that looks like the one we want to see, thunder thighs and all.
I disagree for 2 reasons:
1. Arcee has a backpack in the cartoon, Hot Rod doesnt
2. Hot Rod is a masterpiece figure and the second attempt at one, Arcee is a 15$ deluxe.
The Flat Chest
Once again I look to my shelves for comparison. G1 Hot Rod, flat chest. G1 Rodimus Prime, flat chest. Classics Rodimus, flat chest just so slightly angled in towards the waist. Guess what? That's what Hot Rod's chest looks like, because that's what the car hood looks like. Even Cybertron Excilon (totally Hot Rod) aside from the sculpted detail has a flat plane for a chest.
You dont have Animated Rodimus?
The Transformation is slick! I kept thinking I should look at the instructions, but I kinda just kept finding my way. It's pretty impressive how all that mass from the back end of the car accordions up as tight as it does, and it tabs into his back neat and clean. No guessing.
This part is cool, I really want this toy now.

I've been stalking you in other threads....
That energon axe for G1 Prime only came with the TFC#0 (Transformers Collection Reissue) Convoy. For a while, a repro of the axe could be found on eBay but there doesn't seem to be anyone making them anymore. But there's still the BTS-03 Matrix of Leadership upgrade set.

Since Grand Galvatron is coming, and I have no intention of getting rid of CW Cyc, I'd like to have some more traditional weapons for him. I like Sup's gun for Sup, but not so much for everyone else made form SilverB's skin.
Man I have been scrambling lately. I might try to snap some shots later tonight.

I wanna pic take something fierce. All our batteries are dead from working though. I've been off the road for three weeks and haven't taken much of any pics. I just can't get off the digital crack lately.
Sups gun peg is too small and is loose in everyone's hands. I gave Cycs gun to gen Double Dealer and it looks pretty good (stole the idea from silverhammer).
