In a different life in the not so distant past, Cobotron toured the world playing bass in an Electronica band. He did so in the guise of a Mexican Ranchero star. Because really, what's funnier than a cowboy playing dance music at The Arches in Glasgow? For a brief blink of time, he may have even been Melbourne's favorite bogan of the underground dance scene.
Well that wonderful hat that saw the world with me and absorbed the blood sweat and tears of countless gigs, decided to end it all this past summer by jumping right off my head during a pontoon boat ride in a lake in no where Iowa. It was sucked down by the wake never to be seen again. It was a sad day, and a hard loss to cope with. The hat was a memento and symbol of the accomplishments of my younger days.
That hat can never be replaced, but I felt like I needed something to fill it's void. Plus, I'm bald, and hats are a bald guys best friend. Come this Summer, my head and neck will thank me.
I like Soundwave just as much as I like Blaster. Which is a lot. I think the mold feels natural for them both. There is a little something off about SW's head though. The shape? The size? It's not enough to complain about though. His deco is spot on and I thank Hasbro for always going toy accurate.

Now in Texas, since it's been infiltrated by characters of other states like myself (from Virginia), the hats aren't as code now.
Still, the true Texans needs the hats. I've just been having a hard time finding one for an okay price that looks good on me.
