LOVE IT :P

Are you gonna make a cosmos style head or just repaint the original one ?

I'm thinking of just doing a visor and keeping the repainted head

He still reminds of the crappy prequels too much. I think he would look better if you cut off the two front pointy thingies from the vehicle mode. He would even look more like G1 Cosmos. Hmmm...I should try this.

I think it's great! It is easy to recognize but at the same time there is no booty overhang that I always felt was kinda weird!

Well I've never transformed this guy, so I'm not sure where is legs are. But this is what I meant.

Those become his legs, so cutting them off would be a very bad thing.

You sure they become his legs? In the bot pic in the first post you can see them hangin down behind his legs. I think his legs are actually made by the side wings, that or they fold out from under him. At least thats how it looks to me.

Edit jsut looked at some pics on Seibertron.com and the legs are indeed underneath him. Those front spiky parts jsut fold to his back and hang there.

 Good to know!

Thanks for the investigating. So that being said, anyone else think it might be an improvement?

if there was only one thing I have liked out of ep 3 it was the Jedi starfighter, if I wanted to cut the front off I would have just used the Vader tie, this mold has a portly humanoid mode, is awkward and unstable in said mode, much like Cosmos' bio, also those wing tips in the front are what primarily hold him up... those legs are rubbish

Uhm, if I may add a suggestion, you could also add something of a shield between those winglets to give him a more rounded look instead of weakening his legsupports.
It'd be a passable addition to cosmos, maybe?
