Polyhex Line ~ The Breach
"Understood Stormrune.." Silverbolt replied as he recieved the request from the bomber "..Permission granted, I'm sending Slingshot and 3 squads to assist you, proceed coordinates 23.71 for rendezvous before commencing attack run, Silverbolt out"
Quickly switching frequencies, Silverbolt contacted his ground support specialist "Slingshot, I want you to take 3 squads of groundmovers and proceed to coordinates 23.71 to meet up with Stormrune to conduct a attack run on the Decepticon gun emplacements, Silverbolt out" The Aerialbot Commander ended his comm message and was about to switch frequencies to his second in command when he got a reply through the existing commlink "Oh sure thing boss, I'm ok by the way, just took on 2 'Con flyers by myself, thanks for your concern though" Slingshot sarcastically replied as he began to marshall his troops and head off to the meeting point "Oh, I'm sorry Slingshot..." Silverbolt replied "..Are you ok? You are? Excellent, good to know, now shut up and get going"
Slingshot was less than impressed with his team leader's 'concern' with his wellbeing, but the VTOL jet didn't have a chance to reply as the link was cut and he had somewhere to be, so he got his squads into formation and headed off to his meeting point. While Silverbolt had been dealing with Slingshot, Fireflight had managed to make his way across from his landing site to meet up with his leader, relatively unscathed, and stood waiting while the Aerialbot Commander handed out more orders, this time to Skydive.
"Skydive, you're in charge of the Aerial forces for the forseeable future until I can get some repairs and get airborne again, make sure you keep the Seekers occupied and keep their attention off the ground troops. Is Air Raid with you? I lost radio contact with him sometime ago..." Silverbolt was cut off as Skydive replied "..Yes Sir, Air Raid is next to me now, he seems to have lost long range communications capability in the course of the battle. Leave the Seekers to me and Air Raid Sir, you make sure you get out of there in one piece Sir, Skydive out"
Silverbolt left it at that, he trusted Skydive probably more than any other 'Bot he knew. Turning to Fireflight, the Aerialbot Commander gave a quick smile "Good to see you Fireflight, seems like your attack went about as well as mine" The Aerialbot Scout gave a quick laugh in reply as he compared his injuries to his leader's "Looks like it Sir, shall we see if we can fight our way to Commander Maximus?" Fireflight asked, picking up a fallen rifle off the ground "Well, we're not exactly in our element here, but we can't just let Commander Maximus lay there at the mercy of the 'Cons, Primus knows what they'll do to him, lets go" Silverbolt finished before moving off, Fireflight following him.

Skies Over The Breach
"So what did the boss say? We won yet?" Air Raid asked Skydive "Not yet Raid, but it won't be long now that Optimus and the Iacon reserves are here, it looks to me as though the 'Cons are on their last legs down there" Skydive replied as he noticed the Seekers had reformed themselves and where on the attack, strangely enough, not being led by Starscream "In the mean time, our job is to deal with that flying scum over there" The Aeialbot Tactician pointed out Nightraid, Quantum and Ramjet "With a bit of luck, we'll get some help from Skywatch, I believe I saw him heading back to the Maximus Line, looked like he needed some repairs" Skydive added.
"Slag Seekers, sounds like a plan to me..." Air Raid replied to Skydive "..Besides, I've got a score to settle with that slagger who did this to me" Air Raid added, hinting at his bent nosecone "..In fact, I see him now, so if you'll excuse me Skydive old friend..." The Black Jet didn't allow for a reply as he locked onto Quantum and immediately fired off a pair of missiles at the Seeker and kept up his direct course "He's not getting away this time" Air Raid said to himself.
Skydive meanwhile, far from getting annoyed at his fellow Aerialbot's tactics, followed suit and ordered all aerial squadrons to commence attack, he himself locking onto both Nightraid and Ramjet, firing off a heatseeking missile at each of them, while changing his course to set up his next attack on his targets.

Killzone ~ Distress Signal Coordinates
Something wasn't right, not right at all. Archangel had picked up the distress signal from Brewer not long after the Iacon reinforcements had touched down, but he'd been made to wait while the attacking forces were let off the transport shuttles first. But now that he'd made his way out to the coordinates of the signal, all that was here was a partially patched up 'Bot who was in no immediate danger, some small pools of fluid and little else.
With little else to do, Archangel checked over Dogfight and finished up with some more minor repairs, the rest of his repairs required more equipment than the young Medic had on him. As he made sure there was no more he could do, something laying on the ground caught his optic, it looked like an internal commlink. The feeling of something being wrong intensified, and with some trepidation, Archangel opened a link to Brewer and spoke through it, only to hear his own voice coming from the discarded device.
Archangel cursed to himself, if only he could have got here sooner, he may have been able to stop whatever had happened to Brewer. It didn't matter that he barely knew the young S&R specialist, he was a friend of Forte's, and that was all Archangel needed to know. As he stood there, trying to work out his next move in locating Brewer, Archangel recieved Patchwork's message and gave a quick reply, having not heard from Ratchet in sometime, Archangel assumed that he was the ranking medical officer on the battlefield and therefore was in charge of all things medical.
>>Affirmative Patchwork, by all means, but don't put yourself in unnecessary danger while recovering patients, make sure the area is clear first, Archangel out<<
The fact that Archangel was telling another Medic to be careful was quite hypocritical as he was just about the worst 'Bot at putting himself in danger to get to a casualty. Regardless, the young Medic had already turned his attention to working out where Brewer was "If he's been captured by some 'Con, he's most likely somewhere back behind the Polyhex Line" He thought to himself, as he began to make his way across the battlefield towards the breach, and hopefully, Brewer...
