Makes you think though, is mold choice important for the SG releases? Like can it just be whatever mold is out for that character now and have it painted SG or should it resemble the mold that was initially used when coming up with the SG character?

Yeah yeah, but it's an armada mold, it's what I meant. I forgot who had it in armada.

Also Blurr, but with a less G1 color scheme and head.

Given the leakers have been specifying the leaked SG Megatron is supposed to be using the ER Megatron mold, despite original SG Megatron's reuse of the Energon Megatron mold being one of the few mold choices FunPub made for the original SG toys that the character really owned and made their own, I'm guessing yeah, all the upcoming SG releases will just reuse whatever their normal counterpat's most recent mold is.
It used the specific Cybertron retooling that wasn't on the original Armada version.william-james88 wrote:Jeddostotle7 wrote:william-james88 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Cybertron Blurr.william-james88 wrote:Wait wait, is SG Blurr originally using that Armada Blurr mold? Because that one blows hard.

Thanks. Sabr, that was a rather pointless correction then.
I mean, come on

Well they didnt use the mold for bugbite when they should have and if it really is aSG version, meaning Evil, then there was no excuse for bugbite not to have been a reuse of Netflix Bee. Plus Goldbug should be a different mold to Bee anyways unless they were being lazy and using the name for a shiny G2 Bee.

The belief is that VW wouldn't allow their Beetle to be used as a villain so Bugbite had to be the Cliffjumper body with Bee's head. I'm guessing SG Goldbug will also use the CJ body, but I wonder if the Bee mold has a proper Goldbug head built into it the same way CJ gave us Hubcap. SG Goldbug wasn't a Beetle anyway.
Hopefully a proper G1 Goldbug happens sooner than later, we're long overdue for one.

Maybe the AoE '67 Camaro? Seems like an odd name if that's the case. Maybe it's related to the upcoming Cyberverse movie?
As for Prime and Megatron, reissues come to mind first, but reissues of what I have no idea.
Hmmmm...if I were charged with renaming toys for the Buzzworthy line, "Movie Power Charge Bumblebee" would seem like a reasonable description of an Energon Ignitor Bee.william-james88 wrote:Tuned Agent wrote:Interesting. It's part of Buzzworthy so it's a redeco of a previously released toy. Most probably from the Studio Series line

I'm guessing Bee movie VW mold in better colors which would be good for me because I finally decided I want one, but I don't like the current color options.
Definitely want that Warrior Dead End, hope it's good.
I doubt Optimus and Megatron are reissues (not vintage ones anyway) since it's Target and that isn't really their thing, it's Walmart's. Maybe repainted SS DotM figures since they're both Leader priced?

Nemesis Primal wrote:[...]I highly doubt Hasbro would make the arrangement and/or be allowed to make the arrangement to have Netflix Bee be a Walmart exclusive and then immediately give the same figure in different packaging as an exclusive to a different/rival store not even a year later, that just doesn't seem like a likely scenario to me.
