It should be "This of course puts the whole kibosh on entitled crybabies wanting a complete reboot."
But it's still not MY Transformers! It's still not catering to MY very specific narrow-minded tastes and opinions! If it isn't EXACTLY like how things were back when I was 5 years old, then it SUUUUCKS!!!william-james88 wrote:I still dont get how any of this matters to anyone. The Bumblebee movie proved that you can still make a film everyone will enjoy without needing a complete reboot. You can still have humans, still have the military, and even have bayverse faces and its ok.

Building on the terrible foundation of the Bayverse will result in an utter collapse of the TF movie franchise. By not starting fresh and ignoring the power of nostalgia the next movie may be the last. Instead of starting a cinematic universe, they'll choke it to death.
Good luck with that ****...

Please no. No sequel to the Last Knight. It was the worst one yet in a parade of garbage that has gotten progressively worse with each film. Please no. These are trash films that can only be enjoyed by mocking them and watching them as a joke. The characters all act like they are high on cocaine, the robots aren't even treated as characters, the stories contradict themselves, the scripts are banal, the humor isn't funny to anyone but stoned frat boys, the women are objectified and there are racist and misogynist themes throughout.
Also, they are aggressively stupid.
Please, just make them stop.
Bumblebee sequel —
Okay, I'll go to that.

We can appreciate what the movies did for the franchise and still think that they're all piles of steaming hot garbage (except Bumblebee). The two aren't mutually exclusive.

"TLK sequel" is likely just marketing speech for "next main Transformers movie set after the fifth one" or, to put it more simply, "Transformers 6".Ironhidensh wrote:TLK sequel: are you **** kidding me? Maybe a sequel to DotM, but AoE and TLK were such incredibly bad shitstorms there is literally no way to save that end of the franchise. The best writer in the world couldn't fix that.

The 2007 movie was phenomenal. ROTF was acceptable. DOTM was bad. AoE was disapointing. TLK was trash. Then, Bee movie turn back the clock and brought back greatness. Let's hope the downward spiral won't repeat itself.
At least the movies brought something amazing and it was new design styles and engineering for the toys. Now if the movies can remain as good as 2007 and Bee, we are in for something awesome down the line.

I think we should wait for more info.
