Think this is the best Update Mirage toy i've seen so far. Think It surpasses that 1.0 Mirage toy and MW Mirage toy.
Interested also to see MMC's take on a MP Mirage toy.
apples and potatoes tsu.
It's no different than some fans constantly comparing 3rd party exspensive combiners to Hasbro's cheaply priced Combiners.
Actually, it's 100% different, and price has nothing to do with it.
3rd Party combiners fit into a Classics-type collection. DX9 Mirage fits into an MP collection.
So... don't treat DX9 Mirage like a Classics figures, and don't treat 3rd Party Combiners as MPs.
Capiche?

Some view all of these 3rd party combiners as MP toys. exspecially the bigger scaled TFC combiners, bigger scaled Warbotrons and bigger scaled Predakings.
Some of the 3rd party combiners are MP styled toys like any limbs bots that are Voyager scale with Ultra-Leader scale team leaders.
Most of these 3rd party team members have more articulation than HasTak's combiners do. The sculpt and engineering on most 3rd party combiners has a higher budget and is higher quality than HasTak's combiners have.

It's the same un-fairness and no different than some fans constantly comparing 3rd party exspensive combiners to Hasbro's cheaply priced Combiners.

Okay, just stop. This is not a Classics Mirage. They have no intention of it being compared to a figure that came out 7 years ago and cost $6.99 at the time. This isn't comparing apples to oranges, it's comparing a crayon drawing of an apple to an oil painting of a bowl of apples. They may both be the same thing objectively but one hangs on the fridge and the other on the wall. MP =/= Classics.
And bringing up Machine Wars Mirage? Really?
Now, someone wake me when there's a video review.

i feel his car mode isnt detailed enough to stand with other official MP cars. theres a lack of detail, though most of whats supposed to be there, is there. i think its the chrome that bothers me (and im a guy who likes chrome). the chrome exactly emulates the G1 toy, and it takes could-be-detail from the engine especially. also, i dont like the hollow forearms.
all that said, i still cant deny its got a nice looking bot mode.

I'm going to preface this that I am not picking on you, shajaki!
I don't remember if it was just you, or others who were stating that there is not enough detail. I'm curious if to know what more detailing you'd like to see. As someone else already said, and as the pictures of the real racers show, there isn't a lot of detail to be had. Race cars like this are pretty smooth in their surfaces, with most detailing having an aerodynamic purpose or is found in the paint job/sponsor stickers. Is there anything in particular you'd like to see more detailed?
Thanks! Now... Your mama wears combat boots!!!![]()
