That last Five percent does depend on how good or bad the 3rd party box looks. A awesome box can tip the scale just enough to make me buy the toy or not. It worked with MT Green Giant.
Loved the DX9-UT Wreckgar toy. The reason I didn't buy DX9-UT Wreckgar was because of that Awful box style and art. That I thought looked like a badly done cheaply priced 1980's kids square school lunch box. Maybe if the toy gets clearanced to $40 to $50, might buy it.
For Wreckgar, It's a Shame DX9-UT didn't use the higher class box style and art that they used for Gobots Salmoore-Cykill.

Seriously, that's just strange... While I appreciate a great box, and do keep many of them in case I end up selling the toy later, I could never use it as a means to accept or reject a toy purchase. But I suppose, to each his or her own. But really, I cannot relate to this train of thought. At. All.
im sorry. but thats ridiculous.Tsutsukakushi wrote:Loved the DX9-UT Wreckgar toy. The reason I didn't buy DX9-UT Wreckgar was because of that Awful box style and art. That I thought looked like a badly done cheaply priced 1980's kids square school lunch box.

why do you keep comparing MP's to classics/generations?Tsutsukakushi wrote:Awesome and beautiful toy. Love how it fits right in with those MP Prowl and MP Wheeljack in that one comparison pic above.
Think this is the best Update Mirage toy i've seen so far. Think It surpasses that 1.0 Mirage toy and MW Mirage toy.
Interested also to see MMC's take on a MP Mirage toy.

It's no different than some fans constantly comparing 3rd party exspensive combiners to Hasbro's cheaply priced Combiners.
