Update for you Supreme.
I got the NECA Robocop at Toys R Us today for 15.99.
Here's pics next to the Figma figure.
He's a good deal bigger. But his sculpt is far less advanced looking. His paint is noticeably less shiny and consistent looking. In fact, I had to carefully pick him off the shelf to get a decent one. The other two both seemed to have some issues, like one had his helmet glued on wrong, exposing more of the face then it should have. The other had some really bad blotches of paint on the helmet. This one is about right in all regards except for some over-sprayed silver inside the black joints.
His articulation is not as good. In the pics, I have his gun arm swung all the way out as if trying to shoot 90 degrees off body center, but he can only manage 60 degrees or so. So he can't fire in that famous robo pose. He's severely limited at the elbows with only a small amount of movement upward. In the pics, that's as far up as his elbow can bend to his bicep. Then he has a forearm swivel to move his hand around. Only one hand will hold the gun. He only comes with one arm to change out, and that's the data spike (vs 8 other wrists for the Figma). And to be honest, his head seems strangely tall and skinny. But he does have really good head movement because of it, better then the figma to be honest. Helmet does not come off. No hip holster for the auto 9, which seems very two dimensional compared to the figma. It's very thin to look at it head on or top to bottom. Quite nice from the side view though.
So here's a few more pics to compare. Note that his stance is completely maxing out his arm articulation at both the right shoulder angle and the left elbow angle. The figma out performs this quite easily.
Now I will admit parts of his sculpt are very good. I think his chest plate is more accurate overall. His upper thighs are not bad at all. The lower torso isn't even bad. But next to the figma he's outclassed just about each way. Of course the consolation is that he's only about a third the price or so.
If you gotta get a robocop and don't want to spend a lot, $15.99 is a pretty good bargain for him. If you want the better version, the Figma is worth the extra money IMO, even though is smaller. I like having both, the NECA is going to be my battle damaged Robo.
