Why does Frenzy, who I think was great in the movie! many don't agree but he he rocked! Why does he have BLUE eyes as a decepticon???????????????????????And if barricade was killed off by bad writing or editing ,not OP then where does go he came out of Barry's chest remember??? :shock:

It can be assumed that the colors of his eyes adapt to match the object that he transforms into, his eyes match the blue diode-lights on the boom-box. But the color of his optic receptors seems irrelevant to the role he plays anyway.

Actually, the washing machine has a point. The characters were intentionally given eye colors that matched their eye colors in the cartoon.

I guess Frenzy was the exception. Didn't Metroplex have a red visor in the cartoon?

G1 Frenzy did had a blue-tinted visor. But Optimus had yellow eyes and now they're blue. And yes, Metroplex did have a red visor.

the lcd display on the front of his alt mode was blue, when u seem him transfor his eyes fold up behind it and light it up, i gues it just made sense to do that

He only comes out of barricades chest in the toy, not the movie. He gets in the passenger side.

Looking through my G1 Tf's there are lots of bots that have red eyes and lots of cons that have blue eyes..
Some have yellow eyes, green eyes, black eyes, etc..

I believe so. He transforms and as he finishes, Frenzy shoots out the front of his chest.

yea its at the construction site, barricade transforms and ejects frenzy in order for him to chase after sam and mikayla

His eyes were always blue.
