I'm assuming that's more than the first one, right? And the first one was MASSIVE.

San Esperito was 391 square miles, which, yeah, is pretty sizable. By comparison, GTA San Andreas was something like 14 square miles, Cyrodiil in Elder Scrolls IV is 16. Elder Scrolls II: Daggerfall still holds the record, at a whopping 300,000+ square miles.

To be fair, much of Daggerfall is randomly generated; if they hand-made everything, they'd likely still be working on it today.

I really want to play Daggerfall. Do they still sell it?

Bad news: No, they don't sell it anymore
Good news: It's freeware, and there should be a download on Bethesda's site.

Also she's canonically 12 years old. So...yeah, that's a nice tall glass of "Do Not Want."

To commemorate the release of this on Mac (Odd that they'd do it nearly a decade after the fact) Steam has added achievements to this, so I figured it's a good time to go back and play it again. Just finished the Brain Tumbler, and next I have to deal with Linda the Lungfish. (As voiced by David Kaye!)

Want to see that change into full-blown vomiting? In Sonic Heroes, both Amy and Cream get that treatment. Cream is, mind you, six years old. I have no idea why they would do that. Mind you, Sonic Heroes wasn't awful, and I certainly don't remember seeing that, but still.

I feel bad every time I see that Sonic logo when I boot up PSO.
