So much love, here. SO much. The little touches, the involvement of the original cast, and the fact that it's written by Dan and Harold MAKE this game. Little things like Onionhead using one of Venkman's ESP cards, Louis' helmet on the table where you start, the "Happy Birthday" banner in the background, the Ghostbusters II logo in the back of the office, the guy in the hotel lobby asking if you're a cosmonaut...
Unf. Just... just unf.
But, the PC version is held back by lack of the multiplayer mode and the combination of mouse acceleration, deceleration, and smoothing. Playing it is a pain in the ass.
And that's just the tip of the iceberg. A TON of things from the movies show up. Viggo is sitting in the office. He'll brag and threaten you if you talk to him. Like everyone else, he retains his actor from the movies. (The Librarian Ghost is a major plot element in one level)
Goddamn I wish they would re-release Ecto Cooler Hi-C.

Destroyed the Nightmare and re-earned the Gravity suit. I question the name nightmare though. It doesn't look like anything out of my nightmares. What do my nightmares look like? If this doesn't look like my nightmares, you can only imagine my nightmares, though I'd rather you not as as they are quite embarrassing.

It's called Nightmare because that's the point where the bosses became damn nightmares to fight. Hated the late-game bosses in Fusion. Total hair-ripping moments.

I don't know, man, that last battle before activating the countdown literally broke down like this:
- Stand on ground in middle of room where boss fights in its first form.
- Hold down your "charge Ice Missiles" button.
- Stand next to boss, shoot Ice Missile.
- Keep charging Missiles while flipping over boss and landing on her opposite side.
- Fire another Missile, keep charging, jump over her again.
- Repeat until its second form, which isn't hard, either.
- ???
- Feel bad for paying for Metroid Fusion and hope to your uzi-wielding man-eating baby-selling velociraptor god that this crap is not canon.

The final boss wasn't so bad, but everything before it was horrendous. Bosses that could take out an entire energy tank in only a couple of shots. Whoever designed those bosses was out of his damn mind.

Yeah, me too.

Nearing endgame. After the nightmare battle, tracked down the B.O.X. and took it out to get the wave beam. Found a secret metroid breeding facility. Samus, being part metroid, takes offense to this unfair treatment of her people and decides to blow stuff up. Luckily, an SA-X took care of that for me.
The Happy Locust wrote:On the way, found an X-ridley and got the Screw attack from it. Talked the computer into believing it's someone it's not but who agrees with me and it agreed we should blow stuff up as a show of Metroid solidarity. Made it to the control area but got attacked by another SA-X.

I know Shooters are hardly as lengthy to play as RPGs... but the campaign felt surprisingly short. And it really feels like that's the way it is with shooters, I know multiplayer is why you tend to buy them, but I was hoping for a little more.

He's also completely unnecessary and was really badly presented in Fusion. He was in One Girl In All The World? Would've much rather they put in Armstrong Houston that that guy.

According to the Devs, Human Revolution rewards you for just about everything. That said, Penny Arcade did a comic about this exact situation.

Finished every mission in the Armour other than defeat Crawmerax, obviously. I'll come back once I've levelled up enough and have better gear.
In the Robolucion world now. Bringing 75 spare parts to Delicious Pattie and just turned on the power plant, which is conveniently located in the heart of a freakin' maze-like cavern.

That cave is a killer. It doesn't even make any sense half the time. Its most notable feature is that part of it forms a giant question mark.
