Yes, I bought the recent PC version. Yes, this is my third time buying this game.
A lot of people are talking about how it's just a straight port. These are the stupid people who haven't played it yet. The graphics have been fine-tuned, and the music has been updated. (Most noticeable in the Victory theme) Also there's achievements now, so that's cool.
I didn't play a whole lot last night. Just far enough to get the Queen of Unf, Tifa.

That scene had me in tears I was laughing so hard. Farewell, Waggleton P. Tallylicker. And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest.
Final Fantasy VII:
...And yeah, obviously there's the people who never liked FF7, but I learned to shut them out years ago.

BeastProwl wrote:Also, what is the significance of this "Wolf Armor?"
I like how it looks, but thats it. I suppose I could re-inforce the crap out of it with smithing enchantments and smithing potions, but Ide rather save that for the Nightengale's armor.

BeastProwl wrote:You know, it would be cool if the armor stretched and expanded, and if you wear it while you turn into a werewolf, you'd be an armored werewolf. And seeing as how its he official armor of the companions, and the Skyforge is a mystical smithing forge, I see no reason why it wouldnt be able to. Being an armored werewolf would be amazing IMO.

Gah! it sucks that you have to join the Thieve's Guild to get that snazzy armor. I have to swindle and piss off alot of people that Ive gotten to like in order to get to the quest were you become a Nightengale. It really sucks from a moral standpoint, and Im not one for debauchery (Unless its required)
Anyway, Ive harvested all the elf blood I need so far accept wood elf blood. Were can I find a wood elf who's pissed off enough to attack so I can kill him legally? God, in Skyrim I'm EVERYONE'S friend. Im too good a person, one day I need to change that.

Shadowman wrote:So, I had a personal rule. "Do not buy Mass Effect 3 anyplace other than Steam." And then, exactly the right amount of money to buy it was dropped in my lap. And...well...
Mass Effect 3:
My saving grace is that I got the downloadable copy from Gamestop's not-entirely-horrible Steam knockoff, instead of Origin, so EA is getting about as much money off the sale.
I'm learning a lot, really. Like, did you know there's a game before the ending? Like, a whole game, with shooting, and a story, and hats. Suffice to say, I also took the time to download the Expanded Ending DLC, so the whole "Ending Sucks" thing is going to be really weird from my perspective.
I start off with a few problems, mostly that my two saves aren't exactly the ones I wanted, in particular, my FemShep is a horribly outdated save, from before I got the Kasumi DLC. I'm doing this as my ManShep, who is only slightly off the mark I wanted. (He romanced Tali, instead of Liara, but that's a bit of triviality, aside from one really, really awkward "I am not cheating on Tali to get back with you" conversation)
Did some stuff, a lot of stuff, in fact. Saved the Turians, saved the Krogans, saved 3/4 of the Council (That last 1/4 had it coming, but not the one you'd think!) and met a douchebag ninja. I'm going to try a bit of multiplayer next, I think.
