Anyone with me? The comics are okay. The toys are all like from pre-Christmas or earlier stock. It's nice to save money, but this is CRAZY!

You just described my last few years of Transformers, except for the occasional Classic or Animated gem.

Dude Tech Support part 10 rocked. As soon as Mainframe started going on about having bad luck with Cobra girls I was like, "No he wouldn't" but then, the last panel, you totally did. Those episodes with Mainframe are some of the few I really remember. It kinda freaks me out now since he was talking to Beachhead about his kids in one of the "Arise Serpentor Arise" episodes. Don't remember if the Zarana episodes came before or after the miniseries.

Mainframe IS a pretty badass character, though. Remember the Special Missions issue where he and Dusty are sent to a desert country being invaded by Cobra and have to protect this young revolutionary who hates Mainframe because he's a computer guy and not a warrior, but grows to respect him because of how badass he is? That was a good one.

I didn't read the comics back in the day but I'm catching up now thanks to the IDW trades. I think we should be a part of the Joe Q&A especially since there's a few non Joe sites participating. My concern is that we don't end up asking the same two questions over and over.

Just when I thought it couldn't get any better you named a story ark Radio Ga Ga (clap, clap). This has made my day, week, month.

I'd rather spend the money and work with these than spend it on the club Shadow pack, so my order is placed. I'll have a Vaughn Wilder/Black Major and Dela Eden soon enough, and the head for a Baron Ironblood I'll need to find a good body for.

That is, like, SO NOT hardcore.

It's going to be a treat to dig through these. I've only read a handful between #1 through 117 (I started to read them just as they were going neon).

I hate to say it but, not to me and a lot of people I know. I grew up with the cartoon and when I played with the joes 20 some odd years ago, ok 5 minutes ago, it's the cartoon voices and plots I'd play out. Look at Twitter, the person who posts as Cobra Commander and the other guy who posts as a blue shirt follow their toon personalities. With that all said since it's been almost 25 years that the toon was off the air the comics are all we have and, to be honest, have the best stories to draw upon for movies, TV, etc.

Yeah, but the show got it wrong and reduced a generally plausible military fiction to unwatchable B-movie gush. If they followed the comics or at least based their stories off stuff from the comics (like thw '90s X-Men cartoon), it could've been great.
