Do you collect other toys besides Transformers? Maybe you've got a Masters of the Universe collection you'd like to show off, or maybe you like Thundercats, Voltron, G.I.Joe, Power Rangers, Star Wars, Wrestling, or any of the various comic book toy lines. Please keep the discussions here to non-Transformers toy lines.

You better not be talking about your comics or I'll come to Canada and open a can on ya! Those are the best fan-fic out today and they're one of the few things that help me through my week.

I'm working my way through vol. 2 of the collected Marvel Joe comics and really feel a connection to them. While the cartoon will always be the continuity I hold as cannon I like the "team" aspect of these early books.

I've only read the last part of their TF-Joe crossover (the 2-parter with Unicron), are the rest of their work as bad as that?

:BOT: DDP's first four initial issues. Good but not great and didn't pick up the book until they had their Reloaded series. That was a great "Ultimate" take on the GI Joe universe.

But they had a solid book with America's Elite. It was consistently one of my favorite books of the month. And World War III was a spectacular way to end the Marvel/DDP storylines. :CON:

Devil's Due? Aren't they the ones who paired Pythona with Original Joe Joseph Colton?

Just got my THIRD Defense of Cobra Island set. I heart Alley and Range Viper that much. Not bad on the trade/resale value for Mindbender, Lamprey, Night Creeper and BAT too.

I thought about picking up an extra box of the DOC island.. But other things popped up..
Not a sheeple.
Think for yourself, don't let the magic TV box and social media do the thinking for you.
Question EVERYTHING!!
Just because you have a youtube review channel doesn't make you special.
I look forward to attending a Botcon soon only to settle matters with several idiots in person (yes this is a threat).

I wonder if they produced those Cobra Island sets 50/50. I hope not seeing it's clear how much more demand and how useful the Cobra set has been for people.

Upon get mine, the Cobra one was instantly open so I could work on converting Mindbender to a figure I would perfer on my shelf, the vipers were pulled and put up right after, with the only thing staying in the box being the Night Creeper.

The Joe box was only opened last week when I finally figured out how I was going to convert a few of them.

Not sure if any Canadian Joe fans care, but that Target-now-Zellers-exclusive movie set with Resolute Snake-Eyes in black with the Pursuit head and 3 other generics is on sale for $5 off. So, $30 instead of $35. Might be worth it if you're tired of waiting for the SECS figure (lulz) and have plans for the other figures (customizing, etc).

I would have if not for picking it up 3 weeks ago when it was about $26.

also in Canada it looks like HBC has offloaded a number of remaining DVD pack to Winners for $20 each.

$20 ain't bad, but I really didn't find those packs worth it at all. There's like 1 good figure per box, no accessories, a lame build-a-thing, and the abysmal cartoon. In before I get banned for hatin'.

At this point unless i find other uses, I just $20, for Stalkers head and Jetpack. I'll get better use if I use the Trooper's body for drafting Zap over. :-?

If I haven't been banned for the bad humor and bear skin rug lines being critical of the toon won't.

By the way the TRU ROC Snow Serpent can't hold the pulse rifle for crap. They really should've given him the AK or Recondo's rifle in black with the binding done in white.

If you have any more of the tiny clear elastics, try attaching the rifle's stock to his forearm with one. It might not look good, but it should hold.

That's how they had it in the box. Eh, I'll either give him something from the outpost defender set or dig out Scarface and give the serpent the black AK-47

That works, too! You could always order some guns off Marauders if you want.

I was thinking about that but to tell the truth there's no point I don't "play" with the figures and I don't keep them on display. Marauders does have some cool stuff like the Megatron and RoboCop guns.

Yeah, in that case, there wouldn't be much of a point.

A buddy gave me some Christmas gifts yesterday (I won't see him until after the holidays). One of them was the Playmobil Jewel Thieves set. He knows I've had my eye on it for a while now. It comes with an accessory I need for a custom: a crowbar for my Gordon Freeman!

First Happy Holidays everyone, I hope it was a pleasent and peaceful time. So I went to TRU on the 26 and scored a Sky Sweeper, Mantis, and motorcycle. I do believe that is all of Alpha wave 2 right? No new figures or ones that I wanted and it does appear that the Alpha and Beta class vehicles are clearing out. Here's hoping for some more Dragonhawks and such. Anyone know if the pistol for Air Raid could fit in the holster of the Aqua Viper Commander? Heck, when did we get an Aqua Viper in the first place? The evening of the 26th saw my Snow Serpent fall behind my dresser due to the fact that his foot holes don't fit snuggly around the pegs of his stand. If there is one thing I can't stand it's that. Beware since this isn't the first figure to have the problem.

I've had an issue with all my snow serpents (ROC & 7-pack) that they hate to stand on their own if I put them on their snowshoes. The only one without problems is the 7-pack commander who's currently in the turret of my Arctic HISS.

The others I have had to position with something behind them to help prop them up.

I'm trying to remember if my single one had that problem. I don't think I ever used the stand since his snow shoes did the job.

By the way any thoughts on the Persuit of Cobra being held until Fall 2010? Here's mine

1) After ROTF and ROC Hasbro is giving collectors a bit of a break on the wallet. Let us catch up.

2) The movie line will take a break but the anniversary line will return with Kwin, Shooter, and Dr. Venom. What's that? Joe Club getting a Venom figure? Oh, how about the original 13 in their Comic outfits?

Motto: "A good head and a good heart are always a formidable combination."
Weapon: Sniper Rifle
I hadn't heard that about the Pursuit of Cobra line... sad, I am looking forward to some of those figures here or there. The fact that it seems to be starting with Arctic is awesome to me, I always love the Arctic theme vehicles and troopers.
