Please keep the discussions here to non-Transformers toy lines.

So do I for some reason, maybe because I like the cold. The rumor now is that the Pursuit name will be dropped and the figures released under a new main Joe line.

So they will no longer be 'movie-line' toys...well, technically movie line continued, but yeah, that would be interesting, and possibly not. Thanks for sharing the rumor! B-)

Here's this [link]http://generalsjoes.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/12/01_firefly.jpg[/link] this is the make up for the card art for what was supposed to be City Strike Firefly. Notice the blue map in the back ground? Also the Sigma 6 2.5 inch mech suits are being scaled up to a 3.5 size. On top of all that the Jurassic Park line has been using Joe tooling for it's figures and vehicle; they have two AWE strikers coming out with drivers that use the TRU Firefly mold. Since so many figures are coming with an artic theme dare I say, Kwin?

Well so far all the artcic figures are have seen in the pipeline are the ones shown or mentions at Joecon last year, and at that point there was no Quinn.

The "new card art" is interesting but seeing the first sign of it was actually posted on 4-chan before being picked up by General Joes, Terror Drome and others It is still in the range of speculation at this point. But seeing that logo does seem to match a unit patch on a figure shown with the Mech (nice to finally have a detail shot of these seeing the convention promo was a blacked outline) So my thoughts are that the image is a prototype of what we may see with the figures post-POC.

I honestly don't see them dropping the POC name as the whole line is worked around it, with Cobra developing the new designed HISS tank in the four regions and the "Capture Cobra Commander" plot for the mail away figure.

Well discussion has blown up on the joe boards. Apparently Hiss tank was asked to take the pic down. The validity of the card art is now in question. The Mech's are believed to be Con exclusives, etc. It would be good to have solid numbers as to how well the movie and toy line did so we can have a better platform for judgment.

Well the mechs being convention exclusives are likely due to The fan club posting up an image for their 2010 convention using the purposed new Joe team logo (3 stripes with a 5 point star), at the same time the images of the mech came out, with the Joe Mech pilot featuring the same logo on his (stolen viper) flak vest.

Why I have a problem with this is that ONE) it is still (traditionally) way too early for images of con specials to be leaked now. TWO) The mechs were shown at the last convention as part of the upcoming regular releases by Hasbro, not part of the Club specials from Fun Pub.

But Time will tell.

as far as sales wise who knows, I can only judge things from my perspective: Here in Canada we didn't get even half of the 25th releases, and many figures and especially vehicles had to be ordered online or thru stores with Diamond accounts, either way expect mark-ups. That said the figures mostly moved when stores had them but the only vehicles we saw HISS Tank and the Armadillo Tank vs. Serpentor's Air Chariot) became shelf warmers, as there were just too many out there. The comic packs either sold out or shelf warmed depending on box allotments. Hell I likely could go out and within 3 hours still find a Wild Bill/Scrap Iron, Snake Eyes/Hard Master pack without trying hard.

But for the Movie we've seen almost everything, and in most cases they have sold thru most of it, with a few case fillers taking longer but moving in sales.

That's exactly what happened in my case. I never saw 25th figures except for a few troop builders and the last few waves. What you said about the comic packs is 100% exactly what happened to me. Movie figures? All over, keep in mind I'm only buying the ones I want and not complete waves like the 25th figures.

Perhaps Hasbro is going back to a DTC line that will be intergrated with the Club, online only building off or towards a convention story?

:BOT: IDW's new look for Cobra Commander.

I think him protruding his chin makes it look a bit odd but I actually like the design. Apparently we might see him in the new GI Joe: Cobra sequel mini-series! :CON:

I've seen them but never realized they were Hasbro or using Joe molds. I'm going to take a look next time I'm in TRU. Any idea what the story behind the line is? So the new look CC is going the route of figurehead and not field commander? Interesting. Any idea if the Cobra miniseries trade is out yet? I'm curious as to how they recreated the "mirror" issue.

Personally I like the movie Commander design.

correction: I like the body of the action figure for the movie design.

further correction: I like the movie designs action figure as the body for my Dr. Mindbender.

FRom the sounds of things they are already developing a new series so I have a felling that we will be seeing both new series for Joe and TF's about the same time.

Jem needs to be redone as an adult cartoon. Something tells me the new toons will be educational based with the properties used in a secondary role.

Well I got all of the Wal-Mart battle sets and this past weekend got the Target then and now pack. Today I found out the Sideshow Cobra Sniper I ordered has shipped, the same day I found out I'm going to be unemployed come the end of the week; Doh! While in Target I saw the new exclusive mini vehicle sets, the Deep Six looks sweet, I really think they're using a different body mold for that one. Just remembered I got the white coat Dr. Lewis last week. Well thanks to the last Q&A we know Pursuit is coming in the fall and until then we'll only get store exclusives. Doesn't that mean only one or two new figures per store until the Fall?

Well I kinda bought the DVD and watched it yesterday. What I wanna know is why we haven't gotten that sweet jet pack Storm Shadow uses to escape the Pit, a Scarlet with that Camo armor, the ATV that Stone was riding, Paris Pursuit versions of Scarlet, HD and Breaker... Well we know why there isn't a Breaker figure. Did you get a chance to make a wall paper of the Joe Yearbook photo?

You probably shouldn't have. You already had a rough day, you shouldn't torture yourself even more...
You can read my review of the movie here, if you want.

Perhaps they'll be conventions exclusives at some point. I could totally see that.

Oh crap, I forgot about that wallpaper-sized version! I have it ready (no red text, just the figures posed), just tell me the resolution you want and I'll upload it for you. Sorry about the wait!
