Hopefully will be have my buddy with the much better camera over tomorrow night.

I have him sitting beside me right now and contemplating whether or not to make one or two more modifications. I would say I'm about 85% happy with him right now, and need to finalize his code-name.

Remember those tips I gave ya. Light the area well, white balance, use a tripod or at least sit the camera down on a steady surface like a book on a table, focus, don't use the flash, and enable Macro mode to capture all the details. Contest closes Friday night at 10 Eastern.

I'm looking forward to seeing the entries, too. Mine probably won't do too well, but I'm entering for fun instead of prizes.

Honestly, It should only be done for the fun of it and the opportunity to help grow the greater storyline. That said.....

As soon as I saw GI Joe: Hearts & Minds solicited, I immediately pulled it because Max Brooks of Zombie Survival Guide and World War Z fame was writing it along with comics legend Howard Chaykin and Cobra's Antonio Fuso on art duties.

I thought it was a Major Bludd mini-series but quickly realized it was an anthology, each issue focusing on a Cobra and GI Joe member. I'm completely fine with it because issue 1 was surprisingly good. Great character pieces on Major Bludd and Spirit.

did anyone hire the A-TEAM i know this is the G.I. JOE fans unite well im about to get to that the joes have hired the A-TEAM to rid of cobra once and for all i was at target just got back with all 5 A-TEAM figures and van opened them up and placed it all on my uss flagg happy memorial day yo joe and i love it when a plan comes together

When I get them, I'll have the A-Team Van take on the Cobra Party Van hummer from the movie line. Cobra might then hire the A-Team to take out Beard Force, or something.

Face looks like he'll be a GREAT generic body/custom fodder. I know I'll be making a Team Fortress 2 Spy. Scrap Iron's going to have to watch out, or before he knows it, his Sentry'll be sapped!

If the movie does well I can see them doing a run of classic style figures. Anyone know how the quality is of the figures? I think they're O-ring style so I'm curious as to how they compare.

Sooooo the last wave of ROC alpha vehicles has been released in Canada. Ya know it be great if we knew people in Canada who could grab them for us. Hmmmmmmmm.

nice try CD, but i was around local shops this week-end and didn't see any in my area. Plus it sounds like these have the scalpers running on high alert.

I only want the pod, and then that's only for the viper.

If i do see them, I might try to grab extras, but we'll have to wait and see.

The good news is that Wave 3 Alphas are in my neck of the woods, the bad part is that i'm low on cash, the other good part is thanks to a friend I've got a Lava Pod (yhea) with a Volcano Viper (YHEA!!!)
