Can anyone fill me in on what the red stuff on Snake Eyes is? I never saw the episode(s) these sets or the machine are from so I'm a bit in the dark on it.

The red on his feet and hands represents the radioactive dust that comes from these crystals that was released in the cave to 'take care' of the joe intruders.

In the episode featuring this, he cut off the rest of the joes from radioactive gas by sealing off the tunnel. He then got sick himself, and glowy radioactive red. At this point, as he wanders through the cold, he and Timber become friends, and SE is saved and cured of radioactive sickness by a recluse.

1.Firefly*
2.Beac Head*
3.Zartan
4.Snake Eyes (single carded black)
5.IG Destro
6.Lt. Torpedo
7.Armored Cobra Commander

This is just a list of figures and the numbers aren't for rank they are to mark quantity. the * is to note the fixed crotched versions of the figure only.

#8) Pimp Daddy Destro
#9) Breaker
#10) Cobra Night Watch soldiers
#11) Rock and Roll
#12) Crimson Guard
#13) Shipwreck
#14) Tomax and Xamot
#15) Wild Weasel

For the person who needs another Snake Eyes with Timber, the TRU SE vs. Red Ninja pack would be a good option.

Honestly, I cannot recommend that someone does not buy them all. They are all really good joes, fixed hips or not.

Everytime I see Firefly in the store I feel compelled to buy one. I have like 5, but have actually left some of them in the store. It was hard, but I did it.

I wasn't including the comic sets since a) I'm not sure I can recommend something that requires you to usually buy one crap figure for one good one. b) They're being sold at the same price point as the regular comic packs but come with one less figure. I also can't let go that all of the Destro's except for IG have that mangled hand that can't even hold mini Destro if ya know what I mean. I only recommend PDD as a collectors piece. The figures without the fixed crotches can't do more than stand and look pretty. Also keep in mind that for the most part those earlier wave figures featured other problems like flimsy hands and arms that couldn't bend right. I remember reading the review of the first 5 pack over at General Joe's where he basically said that if these were what the figures were going to be like he was going to avoid them like the plague. Thank God they improved.

Almost forgot the SE vs. RN set features a newly designed cross bow; no more pegs as the bow clips into the gun nice and secure in two places.

a) The most recent comic two-packs are not one crap figure for one good.

b) 'Regular comic' packs were basically repaint figures, and reprinted comics. There are no other regular 25th comic packs. And in many cases these are new sculpts, and new comic stories...minus Wave 1.

Tomax and Xamot.. Both quality figures
Scarred officer and seigie with removable helmet.. both quality figs
Ace and Wild Weasel.. both quality figs
Dreadnoks.. both quality figures

I haven't really found a bad figure yet ace/wild weasel are both great figures as well love that you can remove wild weasel visor so you can see his eyes.

I meant the comic-3 packs. I'm not sure what their official title is.
Snake Eyes and Storm Shadow are the exact same figures from the first wave of comic packs only with new decos. Ace and Wild Weasel are ok but really lacking without their flying machines. Tomax and Xamot, and Scarface and Fred; are they really good figures or are we just happy to have them especially in the case of the Crimson twins? Don't get me wrong I like them all but with the exception of Tomax and Xamot nothing really makes me stand up and say wow. But that's probably because I've always been a mark for the Crimson twins.

So I was reading the review of Torpedo over at Joe Battle Lines and noticed in one of the pictures that there is someway to attach his flippers to the back of his tank pack. By the by I don't think anyone mentioned this, but to answer the question about Rippers jaws of life thing there is a peg on his back that the claw can peg into. Also the hose wraps around the pack somewhat nicely

Not much, they have the rest planned out, not Ripcord planned, a few vehicles.

I am sure they are working on the movie ideas already.

Nice find. The only think in that group that I am sort of interested in is the Cobra Eel. The rest are meh to me.

But I can't wait to vote! Going right now!

**Voted for Firefly, Flint (Tigerforce), SE (blades on chest), Beachhead, Mutt and Junkyard, Major Bludd, Cobra Eel, Snow Job, and ??? Can't remember!**

Here is a link to a CoolToyReview article. Its pictures of Doc in shipping box, and in and out of package.
http://www.cooltoyreview.com/story/fron ... 113919.asp
Seeing it makes me want to order a second one, and hopefully I will get enough stickers to do so from the new comics packs they plan to release.

Also, here is a G.I. Joe Q&A from there from the 11th.

I saw the image last night and I like her costume. I was expecting her to have the colors of her costume after seeing the Snake Eyes images and how close they were to the character, but despite that I like it. I know Duke's costume was leaked, but I missed out on seeing that. I had made a thread about, but accidentally put it in the wrong board and haven't figured out how to move or delete it yet.

Maybe this is at latter point in the movie when she sneaks into cobra temple and she is wearing a stealth suit of some sort. You never know what part of the movie these picture are leaked from since they don't shoot movies in order. So cut them some slack since even in the original cartoon I seem to remember scarlet wearing a different outfit in one episode.

Today I got all of 08 wave two and ALL of them are must haves.

Rock & Roll was very well detailed. Just the same old body really, but they added so much. Excellent use of parts indeed.

Battle armor CC is self explanatory, very good figure in general. The Joke’s on the Joes though when they find out that the Commander they so effortlessly captured was just Beachhead playing dress up…

And Lt. Torpedo, detail just isn’t the word for this guy, I just cant wait to get some eels for him to fight.

Lexington rd. WM I believe. Sadly, I got the last ones. They did have a CG, some troopers, an Air trooper, two of Serpentor, a Snowjob, two of Iron grenadier Destro, and one or two Buzzers, in addition to some comic packs.

Also, the price has gone back down to 5.68. :D

Perhaps black is the new standard uniform look for the movie. Remember in a real military platoon everyone dresses the same and there is no uniqueness. Sort of like the wave 1 figures back in '82
