I think an updated Headman would be pretty nice now that I think about it…

They could then repaint his body gray and make another crimson twins comic pack, except this time in business suits… lots they could do if they made it.

As for the viper set, I’d buy it, I’d buy it six times. That sounds like an awesome idea!

Here's some 25th Anniversary news.
The SDCC figure has been revealed. It's a Cobra Commander in business suit, hood, and with podium.
http://www.hasbro.com/gijoe/default.cfm ... 39FF3583B1
There's going to be more made then last years Destro, and there will be a variant. Some have been set aside to be sold at HTS.com(They probably mean HasbroToyShop.com instead of just HTS.com), and they come in a protective case. There's going to be a second exclusive as well which will be debuting with the club over the next week.
I hope I'm able to get this figure even though I can never get to any of the cons.

Images of upcoming figures.

New 12" figures being released. Cobra Trooper (Infantry Trooper), Dusty (Desert Trooper), Flint (Warrant officer), Sgt. Bazooka (Missile Specialist)

They have an image of Roadblock (City Assault), and international variants of I think it's the next wave.

EDIT: Here is an image of Heavy Duty from the new G.I. Joe movie I came across at SuperHeroHype.com

WOW! That's a very interesting CC exclusive! And I like the International packaging. It is quite cool looking.

12 inch figures, not really interested in. If Dusty were better, I might get him, but he seems to be the one they changed the most. :-(

That is a cool picture of Mr. Ekko, Heavy Duty! 8) I like the mini gatling guns, but maybe he should have two of those...

Will the variant be available for purchase or just be luck of the draw? The other exclusive is supposed to be a larger scale figure so perhaps a Sigma size or 12" figure?

The variant will be sold just like the gold headed Destro last year, right along side the suit version in a more limited capacity. Hasbro has released:

"Like Destro, this year's figure will also feature a second version of Cobra Commander in his Blue "Springfield Country Club" Blazer."

I just hope that getting any of these this year will not be the trial it was getting Destro last year. I went all 5 days last year and still only got one Silver Destro via HTS.com. Hopefully Hasbro has figured something better out.

I can't speak about the other companies but the way Hasbro has handled exclusives the last few years has been horrendous. I may have a short list of complaints against Hasbro but what's there speaks volumes and this has got to be near the top of the list. Stupid question but last year were they selling silver and gold Destros at the same price?

They were both 10 measley dollars (the last gold Destro I saw sell on Ebay for about $350), but they didn't put a freaking limit on the number that could be picked up by people lucky enough to get a ticket into the line until the 3rd day. Doors usually open at 10:00 a.m. and these and Rodimus were sold out by 12:00 just about every day.

I thought it was kind of interesting that they didn't do the Sgt. Slaughter figure as an exclusive, knowing they had booked him for a two day appearance, much like the Rowdy Piper figure at JoeCon last year.

I don't normally follow when cons start or end, I normally find out when news starts getting out from the cons. Can someone tell me when SDCC is supposed to happened so I know when to start looking for the exclusive on HasbroToyShop.com?

July 24-27, but the exclusives were sold last year starting at a specific time one week after comic-con last year.

Thanks for the date on when it starts and ends.

My collection has grown once more by 3 figures. KBToys restocked yesterday and I went in today while in the area and found Buzzer and Lady Jaye, as well as a replacement Snake Eyes with Timber for the one I lost, but now I have two Timbers. I think at this rate i'm going to need to separate my G.I. Joe and Cobra figures so I have more space for each one's growing ranks.

Hey all I just got this months Master Collector and much like last months it featured a full page ad on the back for the forthcoming Joe vehicles. What is interesting that along with the Armadillos and a Vamp they also threw in a Conquest jet. Could this be a sign of a future addition to the 25th line. I can see them doing this over a Skystriker since it wouldn't be cost effective to reissue one of the old birds.

According to the article the images are from the Wave 5 comic 2 packs. I'll probably end up getting all the packs from that even though I'll already have that Lady Jaye with the Battle Packs whenever they come out.

I seem to recall hearing it would be Iron Grenadier Destro, which wont be very good…

I didn’t like something about Tripwires head, but the rest look great. Maybe since we’re getting Nemesis Enforcer we’ll see the rest of Cobra La with him.

I wonder why they removed Serpentor's cape, I think he looks better with the cape then without.

Hey guys, can you guess what I got today?

Two Vipers and a HISS Driver! And before I leave on my trip, I’ll tell you guys what I thought about my new recruits.

The Viper:

Aside from the sonic fighters (or whatever they were called) repaint and the Battle corps version, this is the first regular Viper I’ve ever had my hands on. The goggles as you may have heard are removable, though they are pretty secure, they fall off somewhat easily, so if you’re not careful, they may get lost.

The vest is also removable, its somewhat hard to get on and off and isn’t a thing like Beachhead’s or the troopers vest. Still, its well detailed and is very nice.

The Viper itself is very well detailed, the head sculpt is also very nice. His articulation isn’t as hampered as the rest of the line, quite nice, but he cant get certain poses due to his odd hands.

His backpack is made of an harder plastic, somewhat like the old ones. It makes him top heavy, but looks great regardless. His rifle is large, LARGE, very imposing, menacing, vicious… my only problem was that he can't grip it like he does on the card, but that’s more of an minor thing.

All in all, the viper is awesome and if you see one, buy it. I’ll be getting myself another eighteen.

Now for the HISS driver.

The best thing about this figure is his articulation, everything an old Joe can do, he does just as good. He fits in the HISS perfectly, just looks right.

I think he’s mostly new parts, I know his arms came from Flash, and his chest looks similar but I believe its either new or heavily retooled. Not well armed with only a pistol, but he’s not meant for much more than driving anyway. His pistol slides into its holster well, and is easy to get in and out.

There’s really not that much to say about this guy besides the fact that he’s good, and you should get him. He is indeed well worth five bucks.

Those all look nice, I bet they removed his cape so it could be like that scene from the movie where it got caught in that fan thing.

I have to say I'm kind of jealous of you nekoman because you got two of the figures I want from this wave the only one I have gotten so far is snakes eyes with the butterfly knives and I had to order him on-line.

I had some time to spend with Wild Weasel and out of everyone with a side arm he can pull his out and put it into his holster the best. Don't have to bend the wrist out of joint at all.

I finally broke down and got him last night in the comic 2 pack (completing my stickers needed for Doc). The figure overall seems to pose better than most. By the way, is anyone going to go to JoeCon this summer?

I finally picked up Armored Cobra Commander. Maybe he's the long lost evil twin brother of Beachhead. I think we need to get them on a talk show so they can sort this out.
I just need to get Sgt.Flash and Firefly and I should have every pre-wave 3 figure that wasn't a repaint or repack of the first two boxed sets.
At the rate they keep making figures I'm going to need more shelf space.

EDIT: Has anyone heard of or seen any pictures of other Entertainment/Battle packs like the Mass Device and Weather Dominator one? Cool Toy Review in the Photo Archives section has these listed: Arise Serpentor Arise, Pyramid of Darkness, The MASS Device, Weather Dominator, Fan Favorite Episodes.
