If it is I'll be disappointed on so many levels. I know a lot of people like those lines but for me they're just to cartoony. I was really hoping for a Sigma size Duke with Kung-Fu grip or an early release of their new 12" line; (Whatever happened to Sideshow?) Unless this figure is going to be super articulated with a sword that can double as a letter opener it's going to be the first 25th anniversary pass for me.

Turns out I was correct in what I thought it would be. Hopefully they'll be putting it on HTS.com as I know my cousin will want it.
The way it's packaged makes it look like Snakes Eyes is going to shoot Timber.

Well today was a great day in several ways the 1st being on got the cobra hiss driver as well spirt. But that is not whole story so the toys r us near me gets the shipment on friday which is fine I thought o.k. I will check target first just to see if they have the figures I'm looking for but they didn't because they got there shipment last thursday so I wen to tru and found multiply snake eyes and a single duke with jet pack and couple of cobra vipers but no wild bill or cobra hiss driver as well as no spirt. So the guy next to me says you just missed them some guy swooped in a grab all but one cobra hiss driver and spirt. So I said ah shoot figure I would have to try again down line but the guy gave both his hiss driver and spirt figures so today prove that there are still nice people out there and if you do something good for someone something good will happen to you. Just thought I would let you guys know my good forture. so from this wave I have:
1. snake eyes
2. spirt
3. duke with jet pack
4. hiss driver
5. cobra viper
My question is do you think that G.I. joe 25th anniversary figure have become like the tf movie figures were a while ago were people snap them up and resale them on ebay.

I don't think it'll become like the Transformers Movie figures as much as it looks like they don't go for much more then in the store, even the exclusives don't seem to be going more then 7 or so bucks, not including S+H.

I hope the new wave shows up soon. I'd like to get my hands on some of the new figures. It's been frustrating lately as it takes a bit longer for new figures to get here. They only seem to show up on the release date if they are part of a planned event.

The Combat Heroes look just sweet! I was just going to stick to the 3-3/4 figs, but these little guys will be in my collection, and I'll be able to open all of them without any second thoughts (still haven't opened any 25th).

Well the new snake eyes is just full of surprise that weren't shown in any of the pictures that were posted first let start with his primeare weapon which turns out to be sansetsukon (three sectioned staff), next he has his uzi with silencer added and to finish off his weapons he has sword. He also has two non fuctioning butterfly knives and his final piece is silver night vision googles, everything else look about the same as the other release of snake eyes except for the silver accents on him. So I would recommend getting him if you like to have different costume styles for each of the figures.

Man, I just got an awesome haul the day before yesterday.
I got three
Comic Packs, The Commander Escapes, Silence between borders, and a day in the life of springfield.
I really found the New Springfield comic to be VERY interesting. I'm definately going to get A Bad Day At The Circus soon.
I also only have one stamp to go before I can mail the order for my DOC!!!
I'm so psyched!

Congratulation on the comic two pack haul. I can't tell how cool the crimson twin two pack is, and may I recommend from the this wave of single pack figures:

1. duke with jet pack

2. spirt which comes with freedom his eagle

3. snake eyes silver commando edition

4. cobra hiss driver which will go great with the target exclusive tank

5. Cobra viper all around great figure

Hisstank.com has reported that some of wave 8(4 according to GIJoeclub.com) has started showing up in stores so keep an eye out for it.
For those who don't know, or don't remember, the wave consists Flint(Tiger Force), Snake Eyes in Parka, Roadblock City Assualt, Cobra Commander with Crystal Element, Baroness in cartoon deco, Major Bludd, and Python Patrol Officer.
Hopefully it and the wave before it will show up here in Maine soon.

Dang we just got wave 7 here I really hope they wait untill next month at some point to drop wave 8 on us I still have to find wild bill to complete this wave although I'm not sure about that figure. I will wait untill someone gets ahold of wild bill and gives there thoughts on that figure.

I'm definitely getting the new Baroness after seeing these pics. At first I wasn't go to since I thought it was just a repaint but she has a new head and doesn't' hunch over.

So which figure are people look forward to most in wave 8 ?

I think I'm looking foreword most to Major Bludd mainly because there isn't as that many non-troop characters within Cobra. Plus the figure gives me an excuse to buy two or three more standard Cobra troopers to line up behind him.
I hope they release more Python Patrol members to go along with the officer from that wave. Just about all of the figures needed already have a mold, I think they'd just need to make a new Copperhead.

You do know there’s a comic pack Copperhead coming out? Counting him, we have everything we need, lets just hope Hasbro will make them.

For me it’d be the Python Officer, then Major Bludd. The whole wave is awesome, but I just cant stop expanding my Cobra army…

Today I got Flag Duke, Wave seven Snake Eyes and Spirit. All of which are great, so now I’m only missing Wild Bill from this wave.

Duke was really neat, I can see the flag and jet pack getting used by the rest of the team quite often, Stalker may just have a little treat in store for Cobra tonight.

Does the Jet Pack use a peg for the figures like the Cobra one, or does it strap around the shoulders?
I wonder if they would ever re-release the JUMP Jet Pack set, or some of the other smaller play sets. I don't know if they hold the same views that the team behind the Star Wars do towards play sets.

It uses a peg just like the cobra one. The only difference aside from color is that the gun and cord to the gun have been removed.

As for play sets, I doubt it, but I wish they would make it.

Supposedly we’re going to get three when the movie comes out but no confirmation was ever seen. If true, we’re supposed to get the Pit, MARS Factory and some kind of Mars artic play set that’s supposed to have some icebergs with it or something.

Yeah I love duke as well although if you wait a little over a month there releasing sgt. stalker with jet pack in one of the dvd battle five packs.

I'm looking forwards to Bludd as well. Money's been tight so I've had to hold off on figure purchasing. But Im going to get back into it this week. I've on'y seen the latest Snakeeyes figure lately though.

BTW, I came across this on Youtube. Yes, most of us don't like G4 but I got a good chuckle out of this. Turns out on Super Tuesday one self-glorifying GI JOE character decided to run for office this year. If this was real, he'd have my vote.

Least he has a plan.

Still, I'm amazed at how close they got the helmet looking to the original.
