I hear you bro...nothing in life is simple. But other sites are making it look simple. Theres no denying that. My guess is that the switch would require a lot of work that is very time consuming. I suppose transferring over is not as easy as starting a site from scratch. And theres no denying time is money. So my guess is theres no incentive to do all the work required for a switch. Keep in mind this is all pure speculation since Im not an IT expert.
Just to echo Burn - it's absolutely being looked at and seriously.
From a more technical perspective - moving a legacy site to a responsive design framework can be easy, or it can be a pain. On a site like this one that's basically coded from scratch outside of the board software, it's a
big pain.
It's not my place to speak definitively on what's being worked on and what the targets are for this, but just wanted to chime in as someone with at least a cursory technical knowledge of the work involved and say that it's most definitely not a tiny simple thing to do
