Arcee's popularity likely spiked from her Prime counterpart moreso than her G1 counterpart.Autobot_Benz wrote:No Love for Rattrap boooo there is more to Transformers than G1. For booting up coal.

Bumblevivisector wrote:If I'm just a tad disappointed, it's because I'd really like Blackarachnia to be the first fembot inducted, rather than Arcee. While Blackarachnia's BW and Animated incarnations are just similar enough to be lumped together, inducting every Arcee from TF:TM to Aligned together as the same character (per past HoF policy) just seems disingenuous. Blackarachnia was genuinely bad-ass long before any Arcee followed suit, and complex without any major contradictions of character traits.
Still, Arcee will always be the first name in female TFs that most fans think of, and a win could help guarantee a proper G1 toy of her, so I couldn't exactly complain. Just a preference.
Not sure why the spike in Devy's popularity this year, but yeah, he's overdue, so he's got my vote.

This could be the year that those two make it in.
If they hadn't stopped doing auto-inductees, those two would have been obvious choices for either last year or this year.Rodimus Prime wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Rodimus and Arcee seem to be the most ubiquitous winners across several fansites.

WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY overdue. For both of them. (IMHO.)
