I bought TFCC Nightbeat. I've only got 1 complaint: as I've mentioned before, it's how this guy's head turned out. If there was a way to adapt Head Robots to the E-Hot Shot mold used here, I'd go for it.

Well, Nightbeat's head is only on a ball joint, so it would be fairly easy to attach a new one.

Am I the only one who thinks Cybertron Swerve (Clocker repaint) would be a good bod for Chromedome? With a Stylor head?

How about Headmasters for Encore Ironhide and Ratchet? Maybe even the green and black versions?

Since Swerve's a scout class, I've gotta wonder: isn't he a bit small for a Headmaster? With my HeadRobots figure attached, my Mindwipe is only slightly shorter than my Classics Jetfire figure (which was one of only 3 voyager-class figures made for that line, not counting Prime repainted as Ultra Magnus for the Target-exclusive set).

Edit: it'd be a good repaint, if we were talking about doing something like U2.0 Hardhead.

Was gonna say (if anything) that it'd be more interesting to just leave the original head under the hood and use an adapter add-on instead...but it might actually be better to have a figure that can both use the ball joint yer talking about and work with G1 Headmasters. If they do make a Muzzle figure using this idea, I'd actually consider another TFCC Nightbeat to use with it.

In other thoughts, wasn't there an eHobby exclusive Orion Pax figure repainted from the figures in the Collection 20 Kup reissue? HeadRobots obviously wouldn't be able to use Recoil's exact mold for what I think ended up being Barrelroller, but the same concept could be applied to a more generic Targetmaster weapon, IMO.

Im hoping the Power Core Combiner Mini-Cons fit into the hands of Animated Blurr, I wouldn't mind repainting one up to look like Haywire..

That will be a streatch, TFA Blur's hand openings are super small. They might plug into the holes on the side of his arms like TFA BB's booster rockets.

I kind of wish I'd have picked up...not just A-Blurr but more of the Animated Elite Guard in general. Gonna try to get into the bank tonight. If I've still got some money left, I might try to pick up the leader-class Ultra Magnus repaint. I've seen that one shelf-warming at wal-mart quite a bit lately, and I think they're asking $20 for him.

Kind of like using Firebolt for Classics Rodimus, from the sound of it. I'd still like to see someone do it though.

I talked to them when they were at the last toy show here in T-dot and they said they want to remould the Hothead figure to come with a G1 gun and more G1 face to match up with the normal Universe Onslaught mould. It'll still be a head master for shits and giggles. Personally, I can't wait! It'll look great on my Japanese Universe Onslaught. It would be simply amazing if that Onslaught head transformed into B.O.T.

I don't think the "last recolor" has been announced yet. Maybe something like the Botcon 2007 Vector Sigma Display Accessory Souvenir Set that, if I remember right, unicron.com had done for the TFCC store. I'd consider buying it from the club if that's what happens.

You know how starwars.com's been promoting the 30th anniversary of The Empire Strikes Back (the theatrical release of which was 30 years ago yesterday, I've just read)? Well, Hasbro released U-3P0 in BAD form not too long ago; while (with the exception of the HK droids) I wouldn't want to single card BAD figures, I think to celebrate the 30th anniversary of Empire Strike's Back the U-3P0 mold should be used for a C-3P0 figure that comes with that net/backpack thing Chewbacca used to carry the droid's dismembered body during Empire.

A transforming Prime head was designed years ago and scrapped.

The target master jnr head from the UK comic who was killed by thunder wing( cant remeebr the guys anme now) when they were introduced in Furmans black and white comic.

I'm sure that they would have done a new head for arcee, so as to make it look more Daniel like.

Well, it'd be the only G1 Arcee toy, so I suppose there'd be that.

Not quite. About 10 years ago I had bought the original Arcee Prototype off of a Canadian E-bay seller. It was a glorified brick, but it was pretty special at the time. Sadly, I needed money badly due to a "poor investment" and I sold her for a good profit.

I even tried tracking her back down for the dude from Rabbid Squirrel, but with no luck.
