Didn't you always have to strip off your old armour to add new stuff on top, I always thought adding 1 more 'ranks' worth of it screwed things up anyway?

Mission characters still seem to be there, though (which makes it a little weird that the home page summaries don't show up, but IDK what the code for that looks like these days).

...in place of the buttons that would actually select a mission below all the available missions, as well as the side menu? I know the site's been having bigger issues over the past 24 hours, just reporting this on the off chance it might give someone a hint as to the fix.

Does anyone know when or why the search feature was disabled on the forums? If I did it, I don't remember doing it at this time. I just enabled the search feature again.

This was trying to upgrade armour from 9 tons Iron to 10 tons Iron. As far as I can see the form is still sending the correct values (checked HTML and captured POST) so it doesn't look like the code has changed, but rather the DB can't match the ID (implying a DB change, which I think is more likely).

From the registry (registry.php)
I found that I couldn't activate more than 6 in a single submission, but I could activate less than 6, then activate a few more in another submission to take the active total over 6. Once I had 6 or more active in total, I could no longer activate more. In the example below, I activated 4 bots, then activated 3 more in a second submission.
As the activation check is on the registry page, the missions page was also perfectly happy to let me put all 9 bots into missions at the same time after I'd activated them this way (as 5 then 4 more).
So it looks like the check for how many bots are currently active has been broken - the page correctly checks that the player isn't submitting more than 6 bots at once, but doesn't check that the form submission plus the existing active bots totals 6 or less.
Checking an old backup - and I assume the code is still similar - the check used to happen at the entry point to the

So maybe on hourly updates it is starting a new copy? Also it seems to be multiples of 1024 (or +1023) with regards to rank.
