Yes it sucks. I'm sorry that this had to have happened at this time. Omega Sentinel is off on vacation for the next couple weeks and won't be working on the game/seibs until he gets back. There is a small chance that Seibertron will turn the game back on at some point just to see if the site can handle it, but I'm really not holding my breath on that one. Everyone involved wants Heavy Metal War to be turned back on, but for the time being nothing can be done about it.

In the meantime, I suggest going outside; sledding, building snowmen, having snowballfights or whatever else your do with that white stuff you call snow. Those of you south of the equator might go an work on your tans.

If the outside doesn't please you, there's always computer games, console games, card games, mind games or TV. Hang out with friends, go to a bar and drink yourself silly. Or sit at home reading a good book... oh who am I kidding? Most of you will probably still check in daily just to see if the game's back up.

As I've said previously, Seibs might bring HMW back up, but until OS gives it a clean bill of health don't expect it to stay up.

That said I want to wish you a Merry Christmas and I hope to see you all in the New Year

Bad news: No HMW until next year at earliest. :-(

Good news: Getting snow on Christmas day.

(Considering how rare that is in the Portland area of Oregon, it's a pretty big deal.)
