Probably no accident that those two also have the mask-and-visor faces rather than mouth and eyes head sculpts. I guess none of the teams wanted to be seen as the bad guys.

I pre-ordered all 3 of these, and I already got my Red Twinmill. I am liking the hot wheels collabs so much so far, they are all fun toys and very nicely painted. Debating keeping one of the Twinmills in robot mode and one in alt mode, but not sure which way I'll go yet.

I'll never understand why Hasbro went all out on their Mattel collaborations but Mattel made everything with Hasbro super rare (aside from the MotU figures, they just made those ridiculously expensive). Since when did Mattel hate money? :BANG_HEAD:

That's how Mattel does things. To buy the good Hot Wheels, you have to be prepared to do things that will shame your family. It's just how it is.

GT-Scorcher overall a pretty good toy. A Bir expensive though, find on sale. Twinmill is down to $25 which is much more palatable for this. Also, his second sword does not like to stay tabbed in to the underside of the trunk.

Could Scorcher be a heavy retool of the Siege Sideswipe mold, like the BAF Dollorian is?

No, they are entirely different molds. They just happen to do the car hood as chest thing.
But everything else in different. They are even different shapes and sizes.
