How do you get a robot mode?

Go to the character's profile, then click on the upgrade link.

But what do I do once I'm there?
I can't find anything like "robot mode"

Click the reset button and then you can pick a robot mode.

Scroll down, there will be images of robot modes, and short descriptions, like "Assault Type", Recon Type, and so on... Choose one. There are descriptions in one of the threads of which one does what.

hmmm... looking at your team, whiner-tron, I've noticed that under robot mode, there is none. It's odd because I thought that when they were implemented, that space was filled up with a protoform robot mode.

It's possible that a glitch happened and for some reason you don't have access to them. I'll ask Omega Sentinel when I see him next

Thank you, Mkall, but the reset idea worked.
Just to help on the possible glitch, I was never given an option of robot modes in the creation menus.

It seems that many of the new ones created do not start out with any robot mode. When I created my characters about a month or so ago, I had to reset them all in order to pick a robot mode. I also recall seeing some other new guys having the same situation.
