He is smaller to keep with Studio Series scale, but the engineering, articulation, and accessories are all massive improvements over the TLK Voyager IMO. I think it earned the leader class scale!
And this is why hasbro is able to get away with this.
To charge a leader class price for this is INSANE. There is not a full deluxe figures worth of extra “engineering” in this, a figure that has a “we gave up, so we just made the backpack removable”. And even the paint is terribly disappointing. I mean.. it’s crazy that not only is this acceptable, but that there are people who are justifying and defending it.
This is exactly how hasbro’s ceo is able to rake in $15 MILLION in total compensation for one year. And people will gladly justify it. This is why I can’t bring myself to collect transformers anymore. Stuff like this, to me, is just blatant greed. I can’t justify paying $20 more for something to aid in someone making more money in one year than the average person would in 200+ YEARS. And I know you can say that about most CEO’s. But to me, this is just so blatant it’s indefensible. It screams that they’re just trying to specifically take advantage of the die hard fans.
