Since Burn understandably doesn't want the other thread to become cluttered with convos about allegiance swapping...

Here's the short version: ZeroWolf wants to be a Bot, AZ wants to be a Con. Let's make it happen.

I did some analysis of their recent logs to see how chaging them over would effect things (excuse the messy labels I hastily reused an excel sheet I made for myself, ZW's chart mostly has them right)

I wanted to show that both of them could have positive effects on each side by switching... well....

... not so much

The best I can say is that their switching wouldn't have a negative effect.

But I also wanted to see what the playerbase around each of them would be like. I used the top 200 list and crunched som numbers.

AZ generally fights the other top level players so I did a snapshot of players 1-24(AZ)


It looks like right ow the Bots have a slight edge that switching AZ would balance.

For Zero I did a snapshot of 20 places up and down from his (130)


In that range there are a lot more Con players than Bot players so Zero could be an asset there.


In both cases I feel that the #1 reason to switch both of them is they WANT to switch.
Both are going to play better and participate more if they're where they want to be.

That aside and just looking at the data both could have a balancing effect in their areas and at the very least there would be no discernible harm from switching them.

So what say you other players? Are you for or against the switch up.

Steve has needed to change his briefs for a few years then.

I would say that they can both switch, but AZ has to surrender the title of 'Autobot Savior' to Wingz. He can keep the 'HMW Savior' stuff, but we just can't have a Decepticon parading around in a toga and sash proclaiming him the 'Autobot Savior', it might confuse the new players.

Hey, Burn, would Gore have a problem if I didn't go diving under his treads for a while? If AZ does turn purple, I'm afraid I might have to target his team for a while, just to be obnoxious... er, more obnoxious than usual.

I'm all for both of them switching. Both have been requesting, openly, for a very long while now. The graphs help to show that it would help the active balance as a whole to do so, also.

You will have to fight me for it. This title, this weight that I must bear, being the savior of the Autobots , I didn't chose this for myself. This mantle was placed upon my shoulders as the chosen one by a higher power. A short higher power.

I am cool with the trade. Activity in numbers is like a pendulum around here. Numbers fluctuate on both sides. Right now, the bots are out-performing the cons. It's only a matter of time until the numbers go the other way.

I'll be honest, I voted for the last option. Having Bun on the bots has been like a breath of fresh air.

I voted to let them switch...But I'm bias It seems like a good trade though, one for one. I agree that it shouldn't be a regular thing, unless absolutely needed. Which if that was the case, just make Bun able to hop between factions on the fly...in fact the rest of us could sit back and watch him fight himself for out amusement

Of the two, only AD had the intestinal fortitude to try. Jack was far to afraid of a stronger opponent. Of course, taking down AD wouldn't be the first time I took out a "superior" foe.

I thought those were to see who could replace me while I was gone. Now that I am back, they seem kind of pointless. That's also self important of yourself thinking you could name or crown someone. Who are you again? At least the false savior AD was someone of note in the war.

I'm not sure why people claim they want the title of savior. Do you know how much time I spend in the slums of Iacon taking care of empties and guiding them to the light? Why do you think I take time off from the war so often and for so long. The forgotten non-combat masses that none of my fellow Autobots care about, who are the real victims of this war. I am just thankful to WPI for helping me build the Church of the Light of Primus in the Iacon slums.

Since your looking to switch it seems pointless you even considering such an issue.

Are you saying that I can't take care of the forgotten of Iacon while wearing a purple badge? Are you saying that Decepticons do not know the Light of Primus? We are all children of Primus, blessed with his light, regardless of what badge we wear. To claim otherwise is Factionism. And Factionism is the enemy of Primus, and the reason Iacon has fallen into such a state.

As Burn said somewhere else the "Bounty Hunter" faction that I want (that can fight for either side) is a pipe dream that won't/can't happen anytime soon/ever... but I'd so jump at that in a heartbeat. Nothing against my former Con and current Bot team mates but I'd kill you all and record the results if given a chance.


As for the Autobot Savior thing...
My trying to trade AZ has absolutely nothing to do with trying to usurp his title


Also far too many people have chosen the last option in the poll.

Do you even know why there is a war? Are you familiar with the concept of battle medics treating opposing soldiers because it is the right thing to do?

Factionism breeds hate. The Light of Primus knows no faction. It exists within all Cybertronians. If you open your spark to Primus, you too will be enlightened and understand this. Did Megatron and Optimus Prime not fight side by side during the Dark Cybertron Crisis? If one so full of hate as Prime could, can you not as well?
