I'm still contemplating these but just as before, the colors are killing me. Maybe my "geewun" card should be revoked, but for some reason these super cartoon accurate color schemes that iGear is doing just aren't working for me. Other than the Coneheads which I already commented on earlier in this thread, their Thundercracker just doesn't look nearly as cool as Hasbro's for example:

It's funny too, because they basically did the opposite with their not-minibots. Their initial releases of those were not quite accurate then they released later versions that were. With these, they seem to be shooting for G1 accuracy right out of the gate and I find myself wishing that they'd have gone with the more vibrant colors teased in their initial renders.

Oh well, hopefully they'll do a second set of them with colors closer to those initial renders.

So I guess that explains why there weren't separate pre-orders (initially) for the Coneheads. Very strange to have one group sell as a set, and the original Seekers individually boxed. I really want these, but can only hope I can get them later in the year (at the current pricing). Bring on the new video reviews! :KREMZEEK:

I just currently sold all my seekers to help buy MP SS and SW , so i need me some seekers for the classics shelf .

I'm also into bigger robots lately and having voyager seekers is a big deal to me after having the tiny hasbro jets and no other options out there to replace them for so long.

It's a bit of a pain the way they are selling these as i wanted one seeker and one conehead to test them out .

Too expensive at the moment, but I would totally get these if they go on sale down the line.

At he moment the early bird price on Kapow is 69.99 which i think is ok? , The regular price is 79.99! i wouldn't even consider buying at that price .

Yeah 60-65 and i would be happy 70 is the limit . I'm gonna pick up one for now and wait it out and see if the they drop in a Kapow sale .

Keep in mind that Kapow is Pounds, and 70 British Pounds is nearly $120 US Dollars...

My thinking is similar: $65/Seeker would make me a happy camper; if they had a package deal of all 6 Seekers for $400, I would probably jump on it. But $600 is too much for, essentially, 6 of the same toy.

I have no interest in getting Ten to fifteen recolors, retools based off the same sculpt. The most I'd go for is One to Three.

That is a compelling image.
I'm looking at reorganizing my shelves soon, and the classics seekers are ready to be replaced. But $600 is a lot of scratch.

If they did drop to all 6 for $400, I'd do that.

I'm still not too into the whole look, myself. That image confirms these will look nice next to Hegemon, but I'd really want them to be more G1 than they are. Heck, what I'd really like is a downsized MP, or something a lot like it.

If it was just one I'd probably bite, but we're really looking at 6 bare minimum. Eh, I guess I'll just stick with the Classics Seekers I already got.

Had they gone G1 with the plane modes, but kept the size and articulation, I probably would have bitten for full asking price.

As it is, I do like them, but not for the total price.

Perhaps it's the lighting, but that red plastic on their not-Starscream looks like it belongs on a cheap KO.

I do like the way the bot mode looks overall though. It's a badass design.

I have the Hasbro Asia 3-packs, so I have my vehicle-mode Seekers set and ready to go. These guys are all about the robot mode for me. If they were cheaper, I'd be in.
