character page -> upgrade tab (top left on char page) -> reset transformer -> pick new alt-mode. You keep any xp you have but have to reapply the upgrades, you also need to rearm your character with its previous weapon and you lose any armour = having to pay to install more.

Hi Grimloque, welcome to HMW!

Alts rotate round every 3 days as there is a massive selection so there's only a handful available at any one time.

You can find the available ones on the [Alt-modes] link in your registry, but keep checking back as the list is pretty huge.

...Hopefully one of the guys will drop the link for the complete list for your faction in a post below as I cant find the bloody link currently...

You know, I've always wondered why HMW never had an Admin of it's own. Aside from the Programer I mean. This game has a lot of **** that can only be added by an Admin it seems, and is easily one of the highest draws of users to the site. Shouldn't one of the support staff (any of them) be promoted to Admin so you can do simple stuff like editing the FAQ?

That's good to know. Can't wait to add a Camero to the team! How "into" making up backgrounds/bios do people get. I've not seen much so far.

It varies. Some make up huge essays for their charcters, some just a few lines, but other commanders group together and create whole universes for thier characters to live in.

You get out as much as you put in, but id hazard a guess that most of the posting players here go into quite some depth for theirs.

Back in the pre-N_V days (we're trying not to call them the "old days") the creativity was crazy. We had kitbashes, photoshoppings, drawings, and fics coming out your wazoo.

I'd love to see that sort of thing back again. So get creative people!

because I got a temp job as the replacement Cybernetic Ghost of Christmas Past From The Future, who it turns out is neither cybernetic, a ghost, nor is he from the future.
