title says it all, but it is a nice thought giving prime that underdog appeal. Thoughts?

In the first movie Megatron was clearly about 20 feet taller than Optimus. But in ROTF Megatron just got all short and now they're the same size.

No, Megatron was taller and bulkier in RoTF as well. The difference might not have been as much as in the first film, but it was there. Watch the forest fight and you'll see. (Like we need an excuse to watch that bundle of awesome again.)

Megatron is usually bigger in most continuities, in robot mode anyway. Unless Prime combines with someone/his trailer.

Err, well it was more like 6-8 feet.
But yes, Megatron was bigger in both movies.

Seems a little off because Blackout should be bigger but besides that seems mostly accurate.

Even on this scale Blackout is the biggest but I don't know why they didn't put him at the end.

Well actually, Prime's still about the same as Brawl in the image so he'd still be a leader it's just that Megatron should be bigger and Blackout should be even bigger o_o

I believe that Michael Bay's intention was to portray the Autobots as underdogs, so he intentionally made them all much smaller than the Decepticons and had Arcee deleted to lower the number of Autobots. Making the Autobots all larger and more powerful would not be as intriguing (in my opinion).

I've never seen Animated, my GF just bought the DVDs online, and we got season 2 before season 1, so now I have to wait to watch it until the other set arrives...

Anyway, in G1 Prime and Megatron were the same size, but it seems after that Megatron was bulkier in every continuity, unless Prime combines. Hopefully that will happen in TF3.

Megatron will always be bigger then Optimus unless he combines(like two other posters said).
A semi cannot be bigger then a Cybertron tank, I would think.

Watch the episode "Megatron Rising" to see what I mean. Optimus is TINY! And Bumblebee is even smaller. But then in the last episode, its like only the third time Optimus and Megatron actually fight in the whole series but Optimus is almost as tall as Megatron. Baybe because of those wings, hes taller now? IDK, but thats what it is.
