I really hope it's a classics mold Thundercracker. Then not only can everyone's seeker sets be completed, but also the mold can be laid to rest.

Admittedly, I wouldn't mind if they released Acid Storm's camo style in yellow and blue for the rainmakers...

As much as I wish it were, I suspect we would've seen it from TT by now if it were the WFC seeker mold. Shame too.

I preoreded the wave off of BBTS. It comes with Thundercracker, Kup, Wheeljack and Scourge. Does anybody else notice something cool about the wave contents?

As someone who wants a complete Seekers set for the first time in his life, I just have to say that if this is a WFC Thundercracker, I'm going to pull my hair out.

...And then feed it to the person who made that decision.

I work for a toy business, and we just got an email from Entertainment Earth discussing this wave, and they wrote "a new version of the Botcon 2007 mold" so it is Classics, not WFC.

I also submitted the email to the newscrew.

Not really, since Hasbro won't be releasing a Henkei Sunstorm.

In any case, the KO is much more yellow than I want my Sunstorm to be, so I'll probably be using it as a Rainmaker in my collection when I pick it up.

Still need a more G1 accurate Skywarp; for that matter, I wouldn't mind terribly if they revisited Ramjet with a more G1-specific scheme, since both the Classics and Henkei versions way missed the boat on that count.

I haven't seen chromed guns (or any of the other hallmarks of a Henkei release) on any Hasbro releases of the seeker mold, and seriously doubt we will, so I stand by my statement.

For a more accurate Skywarp and Ramjet I'd check out eBay for the henkei version or a reprolabels sticker sheet. I wouldn't hold my breath on a re-release of those figures any time soon.

Actually, I seem to remember Hasbro stating that in order to release a Universe\Generations Thrust, Dirge and Thundercracker, they would have to be significantly different from the BotCon versions - which Thrust and Dirge certainly are.

This actually brings up a more important point - if Thundercracker is the Classics mold, what paint\colour sceme are they going to use?

I am personally willing to bet it will be the darker blue of the original G1 toy with some altered paint apps, since its highly unlikely they will use the same cartoon sceme as the BotCon figures.

I remember the transscripts of the funpub panel at Botcon where they said they wnated to do Action Master Cracker, but couldn't because the mold was in use, which I took to mean in use for either 'cracker or Sunstorm.

I remember people arguing with me that it was in use for Dirge. BVery glad I was right. Also very glad I didn't go for the KO. A KO would be acceptible if there wasn't a legit product, but I FAR prefer the legit 'cracker to a KO, even a well made one.

It's gonna be the classics seeker mold and you know this.

It should have never been TC as a Botcon reelease only. The people have spoken and they got their wish!!

I had a Henkei TC and it felt much like a KO before they even started talk of the KO. Compared to Henkei Starscream he was just too loose to even play with.

As for Henkei Skywarp, I love the Classics version because it shares the Classic SS wiing paint job, but shares the cartoon accuracy in the face and body. I hated Classics Starcram and the Universe version. Henkei SS is still the most accurate.

TC finally may get a proper due. I now have 7 seekers. Maybe Takara will do the rainmakers now lol!!

I KNEW IT I KNEW IT I KNEW IT! Didn't I tell you guys we'd definitely get T-cracker? Man I'm so excited. I need to complete my Seekers since the older ones probably won't ever be seen again in their current molds. And Wheeljack was a given.

P.S. If anyone has Classics/Universe/Henkei Starscream, Skywarp, or Ramjet for a competitive price, I am interested.

They first said they wouldn't make TC, Thrust, and Dirge.

They then said in regards to Thrust and Dirge that if they made them they would have to be vastly different from the Bot-Con molds.

They now say if they can make money off a figure they'll do it. I take that to mean any chance of exclusivity is gone.

My question is do I contact Fun Pub or Hasbro for the rebate on my '07 set?

It's about freakin time !!! I bought the Henkei version but it's all good. Im happy for those who cant afford the Henkei. Thundercracker is a mainstream character who all fans deserve to have in their collection.
